The Academy of Darkness had become the newest symbol of the Demon Kingdom's future. Construction crews had barely finished their work before the surrounding district began changing.
New roads connected the academy to the residential districts. Merchants opened shops nearby, realizing that several thousand students, teachers, and staff would eventually create an entire economy of their own. Bookbinders, food vendors, magical supply merchants, tailors, potion makers, and craftsmen all began competing for space.
Even before its official opening, the Academy had become a place people talked about.
Jax had also discovered that Sabrina had quietly begun establishing scholarships for talented children from less fortunate families.
Soon, the first generation of students would walk through the doors of the Academy of Darkness.
