Meanwhile, in the Divine Realm where the 3 Demon Goddesses were staying , a vast mirror hovered in the air, its surface rippling gently as it displayed the battlefield Jax had just left behind.
The ruined land, the corpses of Holy Knights, the lone figure of the Demon King standing amid carnage with a single captured Hero in his grasp, it all reflected clearly.
Lilith lounged in her Black and Red Throne, one long leg draped lazily over the armrest, her chin resting in her palm. Her crimson eyes glowed with unrestrained amusement as she watched the final moments replay, Jax tearing Natasha from the teleportation circle with brutal precision.
"Oh my," she purred, lips curling into a delighted smile. "He didn't hesitate at all. Not even a flicker of doubt."
Sona stood nearby, hands folded neatly before her as she studied the scene tactically, "He never seemed to want to annihilate them all today," She finally said.
"From the moment he stepped onto that field, this outcome was inevitable. He wanted them broken, not dead."
Lilith's smile widened, "Mm, exactly. He let them hope and even run away, but not before he plucked one of them away, quite cruel if I'm being honest, good for a Demon King," Lilith said, laughing softly.
"He's going to take them apart," Lilith continued, voice dripping with satisfaction. "One by one. Each disappearance will haunt the rest and every night they'll wonder who's next."
Sona nodded slowly. "Psychological collapse before physical annihilation. Their unity will fracture, and eventually, the various Kingdoms funding these Heroes will back out, it'll cause a massive political uprising, which he can take advantage of, he's very intelligent,"
A low, pleased hum escaped Lilith's throat, "And the best part?" she added, eyes glinting. "They won't even realize how thoroughly they're being toyed with until it's far too late."
Across the chamber, Skadi stood with her arms crossed, towering even among goddesses, her wild silver hair cascading down her back like frozen lightning. Her golden wolf-eyes were locked onto Jax's figure, intense and unblinking.
"…That power," Skadi said, "it's growing faster than I calculated."
Lilith glanced her way, amused. "Oh? Feeling threatened already, War Goddess?"
Skadi snorted. "Hardly." Her gaze sharpened, a predatory gleam burning within it, "I expected dominance, I trained him myself didn't I, but even you two can admit he's very special,"
Sona turned to her slightly, "You sense it too, then."
Skadi nodded, "His presence alone crushed an entire legion. The Heroes are actually pathetic compared to him,"
Lilith laughed, clearly pleased, "Careful, Skadi. You're starting to sound impressed."
"I am impressed," Skadi replied bluntly, "And intrigued."
She rolled her shoulders once, the air around her crackling faintly with ice and war-mana.
"At this rate," Skadi continued, voice rough with anticipation, "it won't be long before even we can't ignore the pull anymore." She glanced toward Lilith and Sona. "When the time comes, I won't be watching from here."
Lilith raised a brow, "Oh?"
Skadi's grin turned feral. "I'll be giving myself to him. Fully. Body, power, battle, everything I own," Her eyes burned with desire, "A King like that deserves a War Goddess at his side."
"Already trying to upstage me? Get in line you old hag, I'm already gonna be the first wife, you'll have to settle for Second Wife, beneath ME!" Lilith said, sitting upright and causing a chuckle between the group.
Skadi barked out a laugh, "At least he'd remember me after the night ended, not just my pussy,"
Lilith rose smoothly from her throne, heels clicking softly against the obsidian floor as she approached Skadi, looking up at the taller goddess without the slightest hint of intimidation. "Oh please," she purred. "If I decide I want him, he won't be thinking about anyone else but me,"
Skadi leaned down slightly, golden eyes gleaming, "You're welcome to try."
The air between them crackled, not with hostility, but with playful tension, raw power brushing power as neither goddess backed down.
A soft, deliberate cough cut through the moment.
Both of them paused and turned to Sona, who was the one that coughed.
Sona had turned from the mirror, one elegant brow raised, lips curved in a faint, knowing smile. "If you're quite finished posturing," she said lightly, "you're forgetting something rather important."
Lilith glanced back, irritation flickering. "And what would that be, oh wise one?"
Sona gestured toward the hovering mirror, where the image had shifted, now showing distant temples of light, frantic priests, and panicked messengers racing through golden halls. "The Divine Gods and Goddesses are already reacting," she said calmly. "Especially Kayle."
Skadi's ears twitched, her expression darkening instantly, "Kayle," she repeated flatly.
Sona nodded, "Seeing that smug group of heroes get crushed, she's definitely pissed. She's already blaming the others for her failure,'
Lilith laughed softly, "Of course she is. That self-righteous glowstick can't handle losing."
Skadi snorted, ice forming briefly beneath her feet. "Jealous bitch," she said bluntly, "She's had centuries of unchecked worship and now her little toys are breaking." Her grin turned sharp. "Watching her Heroes lose is good for her. Might finally teach her humility."
Sona's smile sharpened just a touch, "This is serious, we need to make sure she doesn't do anything insane to Jax, at least until he's ready to deal with it, which won't take long, he'll probably be able to handle her soon,"
Skadi crossed her arms again, gaze returning to Jax's image with unmistakable anticipation. "And when he becomes powerful enough," she said slowly, "I can't wait to see what he'll do to her."
Lilith's eyes gleamed wickedly. "Oh, I hope he takes his time with her. Slowly break that bitchy goddess down until she's a dumb mutt,"
"I hope he's rough with her, teach her a lesson in respect," Skadi said, slamming her fists together.
Lilith reclined back onto her throne, satisfied, "Whatever he does, as long as she's put in her place, I'll be happy. Now, it's time to relax and enjoy the show he's giving us,"
Lilith clicked on the mirror with her fingers, causing ripples as a new image appeared, and the Three Goddesses watched intently, excited to see what would happen next.
