Cass realised that it might have been silly of him to wait for Lord Ridgewood to check on the windows from the other side. He knew that outwardly, he could just open the door. It was his fucking house, he had every right to do so.
He didn't need to wait to see if someone had broken in. He could just…open it. However, he really, really didn't want to walk in on the girls.
