Time passed, and after Ranfan joined the Triclops empire, its governing structure was finally completed. Tien's empire has grown rapidly in size since then, and today, his empire was the topic of discussion in King Furry's office.
"I asked you to look into a newly created country in our neighborhood. What do we know about them?"
King Furry asked his assistant, who was very professional and had prepared a complete file on Tien's country.
"Sir, the country is called the Triclops Empire. Its king is a past world champion named Tien Shinhan."
"We started observing Emperor Tien since he recruited his director, Ranfan, and they began assembling famous martial artists from around the world."
The secretary lightly adjusted his glasses before continuing.
"Some notable martial artists they've recruited include Spopovich, Yamu, Bacterian, Giran, Man-Wolf, Jewel, Killa, Wild Tiger, Pamput, Pintar, and a few more we haven't been able to confirm."
"All these martial artists have joined the Triclops empire because everyone in this country is a martial artist, and advanced fighting techniques are shared freely in their culture."
King Furry's secretary gripped the information sheet nervously while reading the next set of information.
"The Triclops empire didn't stop their recruitment, after citizens populated its lands. Their country has developed two kinds of citizen systems, land-based and sea-based; all martial artists are land-based citizens."
"Their next goal was the sea-based citizens. Emperor Tien personally dove into the ocean for two days before he returned with thousands of mermaids."
"The mermaid representative Piepie brought her people and a variety of sea monsters with them. These mermaids have become the Triclops Empire's sea-based citizens."
King Furry pursed his lips. It seems this new country was filled to the brim with powerful creatures. Their military might was amazing, at least on paper.
But practically, their strength as a country was still undecided in Furry's mind. Because national military strength was different from personal martial arts.
National strength and its related technology take years to build. The Triclops Empire was just a newborn country. Folding his hands, Furry spoke.
"They have a healthy population and an amazing fighting force, but what about their military? Are they capable of comparing to us?"
The secretary understood exactly what Furry was thinking. Furry thought the Triclops Empire was new and wouldn't have a mature military system, but the answer was going to disappoint him.
"Apparently, there is someone in the Triclops empire who thought of the same thing, because three months ago Emperor Tien recruited a unique army general."
"She is named Violet; she was a colonel in the infamous Red Ribbon Army. She had run away after its defeat; only recently she reappeared again to join the empire."
The secretary put down the papers and spoke seriously.
"Sir, the Red Ribbon Army had a complete military system buit by Dr. Gero, it's much more advanced than our own system."
"If General Violet has joined the Triclops empire, even in this short time frame, their military power might be rivaling ours already."
Furry rubbed his eyes tiredly; he understood his secretary wasn't being an alarmist. The Red Ribbon Army by themselves was a huge threat, and now a country had acquired their military technology.
"Our neighboring country has become so strong without us noticing. Powerful citizens, a natural naval force, the Red Ribbon Army's military tech, and the backing of a past world champion."
"I don't know how they solved their national currency issue or how they built a thriving country in the lost continent, but none of that matters anymore."
Furry fixed his mustache and decided on their next approach.
"I asked you to investigate the Triclops empire because they sent us an official notice recently."
"They warned us that a powerful alien is coming to Earth. It seems unbelievable, but they have the Red Ribbon Army's tech; maybe they noticed something we didn't."
Furry joined his hands and commanded his secretary.
"Tell them we accept their goodwill, and we hope they'll help us defeat the alien visitor."
This decision of Furry confused the secretary greatly.
"King Furry, asking another country for help will lower our status. We will appear weak if we can't handle a single alien intruder."
Furry just chuckled at his secretary.
"You weren't there when King Piccolo attacked. Martial artists like Emperor Tien and Goku are beyond powerful, and they are considering this alien strong".
"There is no shame in asking for their help. The reason I am sitting here today is because Goku and his friends defeated King Piccolo."
"Back then Tien Shinhan was a significant fighting force against that monster Piccolo, second only to Goku. I know he can be trusted to protect Earth."
After all, Tien had already protected the Earth once. Knowing who Tien was, King Furry showed his goodwill for the new nation and decided to cooperate with them.
Which was a good idea on his behalf, because the alien that the Triclops nation had warned them about was Raditz. The pureblood Saiyan brother of Goku.
Time had passed quickly, and the time of Raditz's arrival was near already; his spacepod was going to land on Earth today. But this time the Earth knew he was coming.
The secretary took King Furry's word for it, and the most ancient country on earth sent a plea for help to the Triclops empire.
"They want me to help fight the alien? Looks like King Furry's a wise ruler."
Tien sat on the throne and listened to Furry's message. He had been preparing for this day since the moment he was reborn as Tien.
Raditz's arrival will mark the start of the Dragon Ball Z storyline. The upcoming days will no longer be peaceful; threats will come one after the other.
Squeezing the wine glass in his hand in anticipation, Tien shattered the fragile cup, and liqueur splashed all over the ground.
"General Violet, we are going to fight a Saiyan warrior. Do you have anyone you recommend for this mission?"
Tien asked and carelessly removed the glass shards from his hands. Violet nodded while giving Triclops a military salute. Which was just touching the middle of her forehead, in the position of the third eye.
"Yes, sir, we can bring Spopovich, Yamu, and Bacterian with us. They've been clamoring to fight stronger people recently."
Those three? Tien remembered these people. In the original story, Bacterian was a huge and smelly man who almost disgusted Krillin to death in the tournament.
As for Spopovich and Yamu, they were given majin Buu's power by Babidi. Videl had fought against one of them and had received one of the most brutal beatdowns in the story.
That fight was so bad, Gohan went Super Saiyan 2 after watching their sheer brutality. Although currently they don't have majin Buu's power, they still know Ki due to Tien.
"Good, bring them along. I will also contact Goku and Krillin. We will catch that Saiyan right after he lands."
Tien got up from his throne; let's see if all his training had paid off.
