At the battlefield:
"Arthur here!" Miko said while running
As they were heading to a destination a energy blast headed toward miko but before it could hit her Arthur Blocked it
"Be careful!" He punched the energy blast
"Are you sure the plan would work?" Arthur questioned
"I don't know but our kingdom stargazer said it" Miko said while breathing heavily
"Can we really trust her?" Arthur still in doubts
Miko gave a nod and they began to run toward the destination
"Watch out!" Miko said while dodging the arrows. "We can't stop Arthur" She said now using all her strength
As they reached the destination:
"This place... It's a temple" Arthur said as he slowly enter it temple
Miko without a word also walks in and they enter the temple they saw two sword parrel to each other.
"This..." Miko muttered
The air got heavy both Miko and Arthur didn't know who's sword that was and where it came from. They only knew one thing and it was that they will find help here
"Who's sword could this be? " Arthur asked
Miko shakes her head in deny. "I don't know but if star gazer is right then I hope the sword is of our saviour" Miko hoped deep down while speaking just maybe if that the savior sword then they have chance...
As they were thinking suddenly a rock flew toward them. "Be careful!" Arthur said while punching the rock and breaking it.
Upon looking at who throwed the rock adrenaline rush to their body. The fear so strong it activates flight and fight response...
"God of... Death" Miko said trembling
"Mortals give up.... Hand me the jewel of creation" Death said while glaring at both Miko and Arthur.
They were in his mercy a single sweep and they are dead.
But for some reason God of death didn't approach them.
"He's not approaching... Why?" Arthur thought despite them being in his mercy he didn't approach them he just stood there
"It's like he is cautious but from what..." As
Arthur was thinking he realized why God of death was not approaching them.
"Is he cautious because of the swords behind us... If it's really the case then it means star gazer was right" Arthur in deep thoughts
"What you thinking find a way to escape unless you want to be his customer" Miko interrupted
"He's not attacking I believe it's because of the swords" Arthur shares his thoughts
Upon hearing this Miko got an idea
"Attack God of death" She said
"Are you out of your mind Or God of death used some mind of spell? In what world you think we can survive by attacking him a literal God" Arthur said with surprised and doubtful look and his gaze was judging Miko intelligence
"Just do it trust me" Miko said with determination
Arthur seeing Miko sure look he jumped to attack God of death without hesitation
Despite it being God Arthur is a warrior he knows how to judge and looking at Miko sure will he knew Miko plan is not stupidness but something greater then he can understand
As he try to land blow of death with his axe, Death blocked it with his scythe
"You are a human and you think you can scratch me with axe? But I will give you a point on gathering courage to attack Death itself" Death looking at Arthur with slightly impressed glare
Death then used magic "Begone..."
Arthur crashed into wall but he stood up he can't fight anymore but he had enough strength to not pass out...
"Your endurance is indeed great for a human" Death praised Arthur
"But currently my enemy is not you it is someone far stronger... Or you can something far darker" Death glare at sword that was behind Miko
Miko seeing death gaze pierce through her, death gaze was power enough to make Miko realize how many time they would have died if not for death standing there and doing nothing.
Before she could speak Death spoke up
"You are hiding? Don't you... Come out and face me" Death glare get stronger with each passing second...
"Come out or I'll kill these human" As death said it the swords started to tremble... The swords then rose up from ground now floating and then suddenly a darkness surrounded it... As the darkness left there was standing a figure... Emitting strong energy...
"Shadow... You are alive, I thought you have died after getting impaled in your core place by justice..." Death gaze at the figure standing... But for some reason Death glare also seemed like hope... Maybe that's wrong...
The figure standing there didn't spoke up a wisp emerge from darkness...
"Death you really sided with justice... Did you forgot your duty or did you also became like them" Wisp said clearing mocking death but also disappointed for some reason...
"Void you still spoke for him... You should find better things to do instead of being a voice of someone" Death counter mocks
"Better then being standing pile of bones that look like it will fall from breezey wind" Void laughed
"Enough talk void... And you Shadow get aside don't meddle between justice plan" Death glare getting ready to fight
Arthur who was injured stood there with support of his axe and Miko was in shock seeing the interaction... It was first time they saw a someone talking with God of death like that, it's like the person in front of them don't fear death...
"You two are surprised don't you? Seeing a person talking to me God of death like that? But let me tell you something... The person in front of you is not human, he is also a God the God of darkness... Shadow" Death explained but somewhere in his tone there was hint of admiration....
"I don't want to waste time fighting you Shadow... I know it's pretty pathetic that I just threatened you and now leaving without fight but even I know ny capabilities...i can defeat you but I will perish with you... And if I perish the nature order will fall" Death said will summoning portal to leave...
Shadow standing there gave a glare to Death but it was of understanding
"Death... You can still do it don't follow justice... Just-" As void was speaking death cutted her mid sentence "I don't need your advice void I know what I am doing and instead of giving me advice you should advice Shadow to stop all this... He... He would... Sigh just leave it, it's feel pathetic to even talk like that" As death said he left the place in instant without leaving trace...
As death left there only 4 being on room
Miko,Arthur, Shadow and Void
"You must be our saviour that star gazer was talking about" Miko asked in desperation
Shadow nodded while void was lost in thought about death and void knew what death meant...
Arthur who was standing finally gave up and passed out but before he could fall Shadow in instant teleported to him and caught him...
"Arthur... You alright" Miko tried to talk to Arthur but because Arthur was unconscious he could not talk...
"Let's go to your place and get him treated... We don't have enough time we need to prepare..." Void said in serious tone
Miko nodded and started to lead the way.
