The Saien fleets that had rushed to support them paused only for a moment, then immediately flew towards the shields on both sides, adding new strength to the Joint Shield with their own shield generators.
Though one side employed mechanical technology and the other magic technology, the shields were the same; only the means of generating them differed. After frequency adjustments, they merged smoothly.
With the newfound support, the previously fragile shield instantly regained its firmness, becoming rock-solid again, remaining unperturbed under the continuous bombardment of the Church Fleet.
