Hilton and Jes exchanged a glance.
Then, Hilton started speaking, "I can mobilize the power of the Black Lion Commerce to purchase food from various kingdoms and villages and transport it to your territory."
"However... as you know, food is quite scarce in this world, let alone needing so much at once."
"During this process, just the transportation costs are incredibly high, not to mention other fees for hiring guard teams..."
"All things considered, I'm afraid the price might exceed expectations."
Cao Xing nodded, "I understand, so I will buy at a price higher than the market rate."
"For staple foods like wheat and rice, I can offer 80~100 crowns per kilogram."
"For vegetables that can be transported long distances, I can offer 150~160 crowns per kilogram."
"As for meat, the purchase price would be around 800~900 crowns per kilogram. What do you think?"
According to the standard market price, items like wheat and rice are priced between 20 to 30 crowns in towns.
