Loningless felt the distant tremors from the attack, a relieved smile blossoming on his aged face.
"The traitor is gone. Don't cry, Seventh Knight."
Orianna sat by the wall, quietly sobbing like a bullied girl. Mo Yuankai crouched beside her, soothingly whispering: "Take it easy, Orianna. The Dawn Knight had no choice but to deceive you; you really can't hide too many things..."
"I know, I don't blame her!" Orianna sobbed, "I've always regarded His Majesty... Grey as my friend... I never expected her true nature to be like this... How can one be so vicious?"
Mo Yuankai was at a loss for words; he knew Orianna had known Grey much longer than she had known him. Rationally, she understood Grey was an enemy to be defeated, but emotionally, she couldn't easily shed the bonds of friendship. He silently embraced the knight until she had dried her tears and stood up.
