Alaric used his ability to manipulate the ice to create a huge number of ice beasts. He then willed them to attack the sea monster. This move rapidly exhausted his mana, but Alaric remained calm. With his current mana reserves, this much mana expenditure was still far from his limit.
In the next moment, thousands of ice beasts with the likeness of fierce fishes swam toward the sea monster. They looked like a large school of hungry piranhas, bloodthirsty and ferocious.
The sea monster was appalled by the sheer number of ice beasts coming its way. What made it the most fearful was that each ice beast had the power comparable to that of a Disaster-grade monster. There were even some larger ones at the Catastrophe-grade.
