On the way home, Zenis couldn't stop thinking about what Raven had told him, since the demons had almost all been killed and burned to ashes a few years ago, it didn't make sense where they could have come from.
''but the people on the list Raven showed me were pretty decent, I can even say they're a bit strong'' he thought and stopped.
While standing in the middle of the street he noticed that a man in tight clothes that showed every muscle on his body stood in front of him.
,,who are you,, Zenis took a step forward and tried to look at the person in question, but the light from the lamps showed nothing and the only thing Zenis could see were his blue eyes that were shining in a strangely uncomfortable way.
Looking at Zenis, the man ran at him out of the blue at insane speed and tried to punch him in the face without any technique, which Zenis easily dodged.
,,fast for a human, but not enough to impress-,, before he could finish speaking, the man disappeared and re-appeared behind him, now his whole body glowing with blue energy.
Finally, his fist landed a good blow on Zenis, but his face quickly turned into dissapointed one.
Zenis, now with red skin, held his fist without looking ,,Amazing, did you want to test my reaction with the first attack and then finish me with second one?,, Zenis clenched his fist until a loud bone-crushing sound was heard.
The man quickly jumped away and grabbed his broken fingers that were his fist a moment ago.
,,I'll ask you one last time, tell me who-,, Zenis received a hard blow to the face and flew through the air until he hit the van that buckled under the force of the blow.
,,You're being quite arrogant for a child,, the man laughed and walked over to Zenis who was bleeding from his nose and not moving even a bit.
,,I see, he's the type who uses energy for his body and not for magic, much like Parker,, Zenis thought and grinned, since there was nothing to worry about anymore.
This man could be a good ally if the cards were played right and Zenis knew how to deal the right cards to absolutely anyone.
,,Hmm, you remind me of someone,, Zenis raised his head and pointed at the man ,, haven't we seen each other already?,,.
The man finally spoke after a long period of silence with smooth voice.
,,after that blow you shouldn't be able to speak or move, what exactly are you?,,.
,,I'll answer if you answer first,, Zenis demanded.
The slightly upset man sighed and brushed his hair back showing his young face.
,,my name is not important, everyone calls me Vainglory, now you answer, what are you?,,.
''oooh I understand what Raven meant before'' Zenis thought and smiled creepily.

,,you know Zenis, I really like you, that's why I'm going to warn you, few of those people are crazy about fighting,, Raven pushed a folder with Vainglory's photo to Zenis.
,,Roy Shloka AKA Vainglory was a famous hero 5 years ago until he mysteriously disappeared, now he's back and it seems he wants to fight absolutely everyone I know,,.
Zenis thought for a moment and decided that Vainglory must have one of three reasons for doing this.
1- to test his own abilities, since after a long time he might have weakened.
2- he is a sadist who does not like people who are likely to reach his level.
3- it has something to do with his ability that not even the army knows about, since all that was written in the file was ,,strength,,.
,,I will be careful,, Zenis nodded and stood up ,,I will see what I can do with those demons, see you later Raven-san,, and with that he left the bar.
Back to Vainglory
Looking at Zenis, Vainglory tried to understand how such a young boy could catch his blow and react to his movements out of the blue.
,,don't you want to answer? Don't worry, I will beat answer out of you,, Vainglory chuckled and started moving around extremely quickly trying to surpass Zenis's speed.
Anyone who would be in Zenis's place would be able to see several Vainglory around them due to his speed.
But Zenis? Without looking, he could tell where Vainglory was just because his aura was literally screaming at Zenis about his location.
Without another thought, Zenis punched Vainglory in the stomach so hard that Zenis felt his own joints crack.
Surprisingly, Vainglory just laughed and tried to kick Zenis in the ribs, but Zenis easily dodged.
,,So.... I guess your strong point is your durable body eh?,, Zenis grinned and several different ways to neutralize him started to project in his head.
,,You're pretty smart for a brat,, Vainglory laughed and sent another kick towards Zenis's head.
Zenis raised his hand and lightly blocked Vainglory's kick with his hand, which was bleeding from Zenis using his technique.
With a grin, Vainglory forced more power into his leg and broke through Zenis's defense successfully kicking his head.
Zenis who took a few steps back looked at Vainglory with a serious expression and then down at his hand from which his bones were now sticking out.
The blow was so strong that it could break bones, but it wasn't that strong before, which meant that his strength was growing.
"My bone is black...?" Zenis looked at his hand and gave it a hard jerk forcing his bones back into his body while his demonic abilities healed him faster than before.
Lowering himself, Zenis struck a running pose and in the next second he was standing in front of Vainglory with a psychotic grin.
Sensing that something was wrong, Vainglory tried to react but it was too late.
Zenis's boot successfully dug deep between Vainglory's legs where his balls were which forced a hystericick roar from his mouth.
,,even if you can make all parts of your body stronger you can't strengthen your nuts.... Idiot,, Zenis muttered and walked away.
This guy was really strong, he had enough potential to get into the league where Parker, Mason and Zenis are if he had a good teacher.
Letting him live was a risk, but it was a worth it since it was judged by Zenis's 6th sense, he would have liked to have him death so there wouldn't be chance of him rebeling in future, but Vainglory is 100% a useful person in this war with demons.
