Kent's only task was to imbue his ice essence into the spear.
Lady Khronisia had already created a core that would act as the heart of the spear. Inside this core, the weapon spirit she had already captured, thanks to the many dungeons inside the Dungeon Tower, would reside.
But before that could be done, she first had to awaken the core. Kent was in charge of that process.
Of course, she could have gone ahead and created an ice core right away. But that would have been unsuitable for a weapon spirit to reside in.
So Kent would have to handle that part since only an Ice Elemental bearing a True Name could create something of that sort. Initially, she had only wanted a spear that could harness the power of the ice element.
But now that she was forging a Soul-type weapon, things had become more complex and better defined. This time, she had to depend on Kent to handle his part well.
