After hearing Zane's reply, Charlotte didn't leave straight away. Instead, she said, "I still remember that I have promised to buy you the local food in my hometown."
She stared at Zane and continued saying, "I will fulfill my promise."
In actual fact, Zane didn't care about the local food to which Charlotte was talking.
He had no interest in food.
"But before letting you go, let's have a bet," said Zane.
Charlotte's heart sank, and she had a bad feeling about that.
As she expected, it wasn't going to be easy for her to leave that place.
Charlotte put up a fake smile and asked, "What bet is it?"
Zane stared at Charlotte. "If Henry remembers you after you leave this place, and you two get back together, then I will never disturb you anymore. However, if he doesn't remember you, you will be mine."
Charlotte was stunned for a moment before a thought struck her.
