He couldn't waste any more time on the butler anymore. Instead, he rushed toward a bedroom where Clara was in.
After Liam had pushed the bedroom door open, his body tensed at the sight of her lying on the bed. As he approached her, he felt suffocated. After he was sure she was sleeping comfortably on the bed, he drew a deep breath and relaxed.
He was worried about Clara's safety when he saw the butler earlier. That was why he rushed to her bedroom to check on her. He felt like the time passed so slow even though it took him only ten seconds to reach her bedroom.
Despite lying on her bed with her eyes closed, Clara was awake the whole time.
Thus, when she heard somebody breathing deeply next to her, she opened her eyes immediately.
Then she saw Liam standing beside her with a pale and nervous expression. Clara was taken aback. She instantly asked, "What happened?"
