A crowd of hooded mages stood around a boiling obsidian pot in the heart of a crystal tube hidden in the shadows beneath Seh Jenah...
Leading a low chant was a hoodless Mage donned in golden trims along his ivory robe.
His ivory hair with golden stripes waved lazily with the gusts of wind returning from beyond the barrier.
"King of Seh Jenah held up on his end... Which means that we as honorable envoys of Elenora, shall hold up our end of the deal..." Vita grinned, revealing his rotting teeth laced with gilded strings.
He outstretched his hand intending to complete the transaction but found himself hesitating as the mass amount of souls slowly drifted down into the pot from the crevices in the quaking ceiling.
He couldn't help but admire the sight-his baggy sleeve rustling against his outstretched forearm with the calm breeze.
"I found you..."
BOOM!
Before Vita or any of his subordinates could realize what was going on, a vicious explosion of absolute darkness began to devour the brotherhood.
Vita recoiled, hurling out golden discs of energy with a dejected expression on his face.
The familiarity of that voice caused quite the chaos within Vita's mind.
'I thought he was dead!?' He questioned, trying to figure out what with the curse could have possibly gone wrong.
...
Five minutes before the attack...
"You sure you don't need my help?" Lillian asked, dangling her legs over an abyss within the underworld.
Onyx shook his head, hovering just outside the range of Lillian's gateway.
With a thankful nod he vanished into the portal, returning to his rightful place among the living.
"Tenko!" The serpent came slithering in a hurry, crushing several undead in his path.
"Wanna follow him?" She asked with a curious tilt of her head.
Of course the beast did not answer, and simply sat there with his serpentine tongue hanging off the corner of his jaw.
"Okay! Let's go." She stood up, skipping into the portal with no cares in the world.
...
Onyx watched as smoke filled the darkness, escaping from his nostrils when stealth was quite mandatory.
Then he spotted it... Light at the end of the tunnel.
His helmet rustled loosely as he strapped the corners, summoning his blade in a flash of light before sprinting into a grand hall with his body blending in with the immense amount of shadows.
Before his brain could even process what he was doing, he growled before launching a barrage of attacks... Any attack that he could think up and commit too in a short amount of time was released from his arsenal-slaughtering every robed figure within the room, and locking his sights completely on Vita of House Sanctum...
The Leader of The Southeastern Quadrant Brotherhood of Elenora... But more importantly... The man who cursed Onyx with death itself... And more than that: The man who pulled the strings behind the fall of two entire empires... Soon to be three...
"ROT IN HELL!" Onyx roared, hurling slashes of violet energy into the chaos that was the mix of magics and energies of all time.
'Do they have some sort of kill switch?!' Onyx braced, siphoning the shadows around him to protect his body as countless explosions rang out, completely destroying the device at the center.
'They blew it up!?' He panicked, completely astounded that they had given up so early...
He bursted through the dust, cutting down several attacks from Vita and grabbing him by the throat and then dragging him to the ground, reaching his arm back and slamming his face in with several haymakers.
He stomped his chest into the ground, yanking his own helmet off and piercing his sword two inches from Vita's face.
"How do I cure it!?" He screamed, spitting onto Vita's terrified face.
It took Onyx dragging the blade a hair away from his neck for a bitter laughter to escape the mad Mage's quivering lips.
"You cannot." He muttered, his wavering eyes dilating completely before his skin suddenly turned to liquid underneath Onyx.
"Damnit." He growled, grabbing frantically at Vita's remains.
"DAMNIT!" He screamed, driving his fist into the ground beneath Seh Jenah's plaza... Causing the entire room to come down on The Black Dragon...
...
'Here we go...' Azure took a deep breath of water, before waving his arms and changing the entire tide of the sea itself.
Vortex after vortex of water began to drive out of the shallow ocean water, twirling into the air like tornados and charging straight at the hovering Destro.
Azure chuckled, feeling his body be washed away by water and appearing right behind Destro as the forces of the sea began to enclose upon the Lesser god of Destruction.
'Forgive me, mate...' Azure slashed at the throat of Destro, while his trident glistened under the sea-ridden sky and shined with the might of a god. Several impacts launched Destro into the sea, forcing his body into submission as Azure's element began to consume him.
However, he knew that he wasn't done just yet. Gathering the forces of the ocean, Azure began to charge up several powerful attacks targeted directly towards the sea below.
"Mapolet Shemlagim!" Azure roared, pointing his trident with a flick as the ocean collapsed inward on itself, with nearly a hundred colossal pillars of water crashing down with it.
Azure began to descend, twirling as his trident spun in physic-defying ways.
BOOOOOOM!
His force shook the very sea, his unbroken form piercing into the water and throwing everything he had aimed directly at Destro's staggered figure.
BOOM!
Azure had no time to change his course, colliding directly with the living bomb that was this Lesser god.
CLANG!
The clash parted the sea as Azure's trident trembled against Destro's hardened forearm.
"What happened?" Destro asked with a sinister smile, causing Azure to squint as liquid spears drove from the very sand beneath them.
Destro leaped into the air, twirling as explosions shot from his hands and feet, easily deflecting Azure's attack as he stopped with a lavish landing, already turning to a sprint and leaping at Azure once again.
"What's with everyone and breaking oaths?" Destro rolled underneath a twenty meter long slash of Azure's trident, flicking an explosion at his chin and launching sea god into the air.
"I'm serious bro!" Destro yelled, spinning into the air and launching a layered and precise beam of explosions straight down at Azure's suspended figure.
BooooOOOOOOM!
Azure crashed into the sand below as the sea began to repair itself with a violent collision of waves.
He grit his teeth, his skin beginning to glow bright blue as the water suddenly ceased under the influence of time itself, freezing around Azure only seconds before he would be driven away by a powerful tide.
Then as if in a trance, Azure let his own power consume him. Hurling himself into the sky above with a storm big enough to wipe out half of Vallmora in his wake.
Vortexes shot towards Destro's flying figure with terrible speed, crashing into each other as he changed direction with incredible speed.
Azure came after, swirling his trident and launching several colossal slashes at the god of Destruction.
Destro dodged, coming to an instant stop and firing himself through the attacks, slamming his searing fist into Azure's stomach, causing several explosions to ring out in the sky.
Azure soared backwards, trying to call the sea forth to halt his own movement, but found himself panicked as compressed and frozen explosions began to take form, hurling towards Azure with incredible speeds of their own.
Chains formed, wrapping around Azure and stopping him in place with a painful yank.
Above, the sea-veiled sky began to part, turning to a depressing rain as Destro chuckled lowly, holding out his hands with malevolent intent.
The sun burned behind his silhouette, and golden matter began to fill the air...
'His pride and true...' Azure cursed, unable to move under Destro's mighty grasp.
Laughter began to echo from the god of Destruction...
"Oh Greater Goddess Heres! Bestow me your touch once more!" Destro boomed, his body beginning to glow violently while a the familiar sight of a continent-sized Spear came into view above.
"Sprādziena šķēps!" He roared, giving motion to his Trinity art as the Spear began to drive downward.
"Someone will just replace me!" Azure screamed back, struggling under his chains as his glance darted towards the direction of Gabriel with a saddened look of hope in his oceanic eyes.
...
Michael stopped, turning his shoulder back towards the shoreline. His eyes painfully beginning to burn just from the sight at the corner of his vision.
"We can't just leave..." He pondered aloud, only to realize the sheer might of the unfamiliar energy beginning to take shape amidst the battle.
"Wait!" Gabriel tried to grab Michael's wrist only for the ice-shrouded warrior to launch himself back onto the sea seconds before he could reach him.
Michael strained his eyes shut, forming ice in his path to keep his pace...
'This won't work...' He thought, feeling the pressure of gods radiate through his eyelids, somehow damaging his closed eyes.
He growled, using his left hand to form a veil of ice over his eyes. He turned his body, gritting his teeth as he switched up his momentum, using advanced architecture and immense imaginative ability to guide his unseeable path.
'What would he do...?' He frantically thought, somehow dodging a rain of explosions as the force of that attack grew closer and closer.
Summoning his scythe, Michael braced and reeled back his weapon.
'I've got it...' His eyes lit up behind the protection.
A cloud of freezing mist began to take shape along his scythe... Freezing the very water below his soaring form.
His arms shook as he slowly lowered the scythe, preparing his body for the recoil of a lifetime.
A roar left his lips just as the spear had begun to pick up enough momentum to destroy an entire island...
"LEDUS SIENA!" Michael screamed, driving his blade into the water and swinging with every ounce of his momentum to launch the water into the air.
In reality... It was an impossible feat for someone lacking three forms of energy...
However, in a desperate gamble... Michael had placed his trust in the captured god above... Who gazed down with endless curiosity at a measly noble human attempting something as audacious as that...
Azure chuckled, never needing to do anything in the first place...
"Bloody fucking hell mate... With energy as potent as that... You don't need three forms of energy..." Azure whispered in awe as a wall of ice the size of mountains rose between the spear and Azure.
BOOOOOOOOOM!!!
Azure's eyes glistened as the ice shattered under Destro's attack... But unfortunately for Destro... That defense had been far too thick for Destro's Art to drive completely through it...
Azure grinned, snapping his chains and outstretching his arms while a devastating shockwave shook the trees from there all the way over to the North...
Michael crashed into the sea, his body going lifeless as it descended into the waters... Luckily Azure had complete control of the sea now, and could easily guide him away in seconds.
But that... Was not the problem now...
In a rage Destro hurled himself forth, grabbing at Azure and launching him back with countless Hexes following him closely.
Azure turned, hurling a giant wave at Destro who crashed straight through it with ease.
BOOM!
Firing another barrage of explosions, Destro finally got close, grabbing Azure and piercing his shoulder with solid explosions before hurling him upwards higher into the sky.
He growled, forming another spear-this time nowhere near as big as his last.
He aimed it upwards, firing it with immense speed as it honed in on the sea god.
Azure grinned, turning and grabbing the spear out of the air, bracing its explosion and firing it right back at Destro.
He dodged, but cocked his eyebrows as the sea began to rage.
Azure twitched in an instant, kicking Destro down and reeling back his trident with a spin.
"Fall! Drown! BE SUBMERGED!" Azure's voice echoed across the sky as his trident shot through the air with a divine glow, slamming straight into Destro's braced forearms and launching him into the sea, and further than that, driving him into the ground below.
