Equan struggled under the grip of the frozen tendril, feeling his lungs begin to freeze solid within his chest.

His eyes locked onto the scene of his friend Gabriel drowning Kaylynn from within, his hands gushing water forth as he strangled her with empty green eyes.
He grit his teeth as misty breath escaped the lips of his descending body.
All he could feel was the static shock of lightning rushing through his body like a flood.
Anger... At whoever had defiled the minds of his friends...
He was going to put them in the electric chair...
His arms lazily hovered at his sides as he fell... A strange feeling overtaking the body that was electrified by anger.

"I REFUSE!" He screamed, as his body thundered towards The child of Envy, grabbing him by the throat as electricity transferred into the water within Gabriel's body.
It began to jolt, as the grin on his electrified face never faded.
That angered Equan further, causing his lightning to change from Gold to blue, and back to Gold over and over again as he electrified his friend alive.
"GIVE HIM BACK!" He screamed, holding firm as that same water began to flood Equan's body, spilling out of his gurgling throat.
The two stood firm, glaring into each other's eyes with nothing but hatred. Both killing each other with their own affinities...
He remembered the first time they had met at Phoenix Academy...
He remembered losing in his mock duel against this same kid with black hair and blue eyes...
"I WON'T LOSE AGAIN!" Equan screamed, targeting his electricity towards the neurons of Gabriel's brain."
Then fear shot through the green eyes of whoever this demon is that took his friend, as it realized Equan somehow knew how to free the boy.
Gabriel drew his trident, slashing open Equan's chest and stepping back as water and blood spilled from his mouth; however, Gabriel froze...
As Equan did the least probable thing in that moment...
He leaned back...
His chest spilling with blood...
His eyes wide with excitement, and his mind radiating with lightning.
The Prodigy of Lightning laughed...
Then a blast of golden energy sparked from his right hand...
And a sword made out of a terrible amount of electricity zapped statically within his hand.
"I've changed..." He lowered his head with a growl, never ceasing the grin across his lips as water continued to spill from his those same lips.
Then he shot forward with another blast, as golden arcs zapped towards Gabe, who ducked and swayed out of the way, lifting his trident with a brace to meet the clash of Equan.
Their eyes met again.
Dangerous...
Angry...
Killing intent in both gazes...
The walls began to rumble...
Equan's eyebrow cocked with an even wider grin.
"YES GABE!" He yelled enthusiastically, as he lowered his body and slashed at Gabriel's knees with his lightning sword.
"Go all out..." He growled as the wall behind Gabriel exploded and a tsunami of water began to fill the room around them...
