"How did King Titus become king of the elves?" Suzan asked.
Suzan and I are still traveling to the sacred forest trading post, alongside Emily and Enna. Apart from Emily's occasional chuckling, we walked in silence for a long while. Suzan broke the silence with another question about King Titus.
"He used diplomacy." Emily said, confidently.
"Diplomacy is another one of Titus' strengths." Enna added, with an affirmative nod.
"He convinced the elves to make him their King with diplomacy?!" I asked. "How?"
Did King Titus truly take the elven crown with words alone? That is hard to believe.
"Uhh. . ." Emily said as she was thinking. "How did he do that?"
"I don't know." Enna said.
"Oh yeah, didn't he seduce Daphne and make her his spy or something?"
"Yes. I remember that."
Emily and Enna nodded deeply and said no more about it, as if that was a satisfactory answer. The assistance of one spy would hardly make any difference.
