Before Rayen's vision went blank, he heard his own voice.
"Let there be light!"
It wasn't him who said that, but it was definitely his voice.
In a split second, a loud crack reverberated in the entire room, followed by a thud, not just once but multiple thuds, as though multiple large objects fell hard to the ground. Under Rayen's gradually fading consciousness, he glimpsed the silhouette of his teammates collapsing with him.
Above him, a myriad of stars appeared in his vision, as though he were in the middle of an ocean, under the night sky. They were twinkling bright, calling to him.
"Initiating system emergency preservation..."
Like a murmur, Mini Plotter's voice sounded in his ears.

When Rayen opened his eyes again, there was a pervading thought in his mind.
'Who am I? What am I?'
No matter how much he recalled, he couldn't find the answer. His mind was a mess of darkness. It seemed like he was nothing. He didn't exist. He's not existing.
