Chapter 600 - Chapter 600: Cloth Creation

Whether it's the Cloths or the Saints, they all have a certain rank, but there have never been a shortage of Saints who surpass their own rank. Even the weakest Bronze Cloths have had terrifying Saints among their past owners who have awakened the Seventh Sense or even the Eighth Sense.

While it's unlikely that every one of them would be as extraordinary as Pegasus, in past bloody battles, there were always seven or eight Bronze Saints in each generation who possessed the strength of Silver Saints or even awakened the Seventh Sense. It can be said that every Bronze Cloth has had its moment of glory.

And once one can communicate with these Cloths, the experiences of the Cloths' past owners can be directly absorbed by the Saint, which can be said to open a path to the heavens. Any Saint can completely reach the peak level of the Cloths' past owners.

As for the Aries Gold Cloth, its past owners were at least at the Seventh Sense level. There were certainly many who were strong enough to reach the Eighth Sense, or even the peak of the Eighth Sense. These experiences are priceless treasures for any Saint.

Unfortunately, Shin himself doesn't possess a Cosmos. He might be able to push the Aries Gold Cloth's Cosmos to its limit, but he has no way to internalize the insights related to the Cosmos for his own use.

Otherwise, if he had absorbed all the insights about the Cosmos from the past Gold Saints of Aries, Shin might even have been able to approach the legendary Divine Cosmos in one go!

Mu only felt envy and jealousy for a moment before he stopped caring about these things. In fact, he even felt a faint sense of secret joy.

His trust in Shin, an alien, was limited, and seeing that the other party could only indirectly control the Cosmos through the Cloth, truly made him breathe a huge sigh of relief.

What made him even happier was that he felt his Aries Gold Cloth had become much stronger in an instant. The power exerted by a Cloth varies depending on its owner, and a stronger Cosmos can fully unlock more of the Cloth's potential.

In this short time, Shin, who had been closing his eyes and sensing the Cosmos, although he didn't push the Gold Cloth to the state of a God Cloth in one go, he did develop the Gold Cloth's potential to its maximum, almost reaching the peak limit of the Eighth Sense.

When he returns the Gold Cloth to him, relying on these lingering insights, Mu, who has already reached the advanced stage of the Seventh Sense, feels that he can also try to experience what the Eighth Sense feels like!

However, for now, Mu only looked at Shin with some envy, and at the same time, he believed his claim of being from another universe much more.

In Mu's eyes, no matter how dull or foolish a person was, after gaining this ability and fusing with the Gold Cloth, they should at least awaken their own Cosmos, right? However, all of Shin's Cosmos originated from the Gold Cloth itself; there was no sign of him awakening his own Cosmos at all. This could only mean that he fundamentally had no possibility of awakening a Cosmos.

"Alright, I now have a Cosmos," Shin opened his eyes and looked at Mu. "Can you teach me some Cloth manufacturing techniques now?"

In reality, Shin had already seen many processes of Cloth creation from the Gold Cloth's own memories. After all, the past generations of Aries were all survivors of the continent of Mu and were all masters of repairing Cloths. When repairing Cloths, one also needs to operate the Cosmos, and occasionally, when wearing the Gold Cloth and operating the Cosmos in resonance, some shallow memories were left behind.

However, these memories were far too shallow compared to operating the peak Cosmos during battle.

Upon hearing Shin's words, Mu nodded: "Alright, Mr. Shin, I will now begin to teach you the methods of Cloth creation..."

Shin learned the process of Cloth creation very quickly. Firstly, he possessed the memories, experiences, and insights given to him by the Gold Cloth. Secondly, as a Superman, he also had the ability of super intelligence.

If it weren't for the fact that the Cosmos was a completely new system, and Cloth creation relied more on intuition than intellect, Shin estimated that he would only need a day to completely absorb all of Mu's knowledge.

Even so, Shin's strong learning ability still left Mu feeling a series of shocks. Within just a few days, Shin was already able to repair Bronze Cloths and Silver Cloths.

As for Gold Cloths? Mu himself had never repaired one. He had repair models for Bronze and Silver Cloths, but the materials required for Gold Cloths were too precious, so there were simply no such models available.

At this point, the next thing to learn was how to create Bronze and Silver Cloths. Once he learned that, he could basically be considered to have graduated. As for Gold Cloths, ever since the sinking of the continent of Mu, very few people have been able to create them.

It was during this time, while Shin was engrossed in learning the various special abilities of the Cloths and imbuing them with spirituality, that the main storyline of Saint Seiya never stopped progressing.

The Galaxian Wars were still completely disrupted by Ikki. Seiya and Shiryu's great battle left both of their Cloths tattered and broken, with even their inherent spirituality falling into slumber.

And for a Saint, a Cloth in such a state could be considered dead.

Generally speaking, Cloths have a certain ability to self-repair. Even if there were some problems or small cracks appeared, they would gradually recover over time.

But once they enter this state of slumber, the Cloth's own repair ability becomes completely powerless. Or, with the endless influx of starlight from their corresponding constellations, the Cloths would gradually recover, but that would take at least several hundred to a thousand years.

In such cases, Cloth repairers like Mu are needed. Occasionally, during Holy Wars, there might even be situations where an entire Cloth is completely shattered, with no fragments recovered. At such times, the past generations of Aries Gold Saints would have to tirelessly create a new set of Cloths themselves.

However, generally speaking, Aries Saints would not create new Cloths. Even in desperate situations, they would do their utmost to recover some fragments of the original Cloth as materials for creating a new one.

Just as Saints grow, Cloths also possess growth potential. Each Saint's continuous battles and activation of their Cosmos essentially build up the Cloth's foundation. Therefore, the older a Cloth is, the stronger its potential.

Theoretically, even an ordinary Bronze Cloth, if it has never been re-forged from ancient times to the present, and its past owners' combat levels were sufficient, then its potential surpassing a Gold Cloth would not be a surprising matter.
