Lin Langtian gazed at the icy-robed young woman standing in the clearing and smiled faintly as he spoke.

Ling Wu, standing behind Lin Langtian, watched with disbelief as the two powerful elders changed their attitudes so quickly. Her gaze toward Lin Langtian filled with astonishment. These two elders were powerful experts at the Perfect Death Profound Realm, yet they appeared utterly helpless before the handsome young man in front of her.
Shuang Wu was similarly astonished. She had met Lin Langtian before, but that was two years ago when his strength had already impressed her—though he had only reached the Life Profound Realm at the time.
Now, after just two short years, Lin Langtian's power had reached a frightening level. Even two Perfect Death Profound Realm experts could not stand against him.

Lin Langtian nodded, listening closely.
"Initially, Uncle Wu intended to groom my brother, who carries the bloodline of the Nine Fiends Black Golden Crow—a bloodline that hadn't appeared in thousands of years. With proper nurturing, he might have restored our clan's former glory. Several high-ranking elders agreed with Uncle Wu's decision.
