Akira walked away from the battlefield leaving as Akimitsu said to Akira to search for Rina and save her from kageyama and to stop the Chain of shinseiki .
Akimitsu, Taro, Mei, Kaito—
they all watched him disappear into the fog of the bamboo forest.
But Akira didn't stop.
He didn't look back.
His body was exhausted…
his muscles trembling…
his breath ragged…
…but his resolve was unbreakable.
"Rina… I'm coming."
The bamboo trees thickened.
The deeper he walked, the darker it became.
Not a sound.
Not a bird.
Not even wind.
Then—
A faint light appeared ahead.
As he stepped through the final line of trees,
Akira froze.
A massive hidden castle stood in the heart of the bamboo forest—
ancient, beautiful, glowing faintly with phantom-blue lanterns.
The walls were carved with dragons, storms, and seals of the Kageyama clan.
"This place…" Akira whispered.
"It's… beautiful."
But something felt wrong.
The air was cold—too cold.
He pushed open the main gate.
The inside was pitch black.
He moved slowly, sword ready.
Each step echoed down the long corridor.
Then—
A faint glow ignited at the far end of the hall.
A throne.
A figure sitting upon it.
Eyes glowing in the dark.
As Akira approached, the shadows peeled back to reveal him—
Ryōichi Kageyama
The King of Shadows.
Older than he looked.
Stronger than he should be.
Aura leaking darkness like smoke.
He smiled.
"Welcome… Hoshinaka Akira.
The young leader of Hoshizuro."
His voice echoed like a monster speaking inside the walls.
"You came… all alone… into MY castle?
You must be very brave…"
His grin widened.
"…or very foolish."
Akira's eyes narrowed.
"You're the one behind everything.
You want Rina.
You spread darkness over this forest."
Kageyama laughed deeply.
"And you left Rina in the hospital…
without placing even one powerful warrior beside her.
You Hoshizuro fools always make the same mistakes."
Akira's jaw clenched.
"Don't talk too much.
This is your last day.
The darkness of this forest will die with you.
And the chain of Shinseiki ends now."
Kageyama tilted his head, amused.
"You think you can defeat me…
when you haven't slept…
when your body is collapsing…
when your spirit is cracking?"
Dark aura erupted from his throne.
"You are weak, Akira."
Akira slowly drew his sword.
"You'll see how weak I am."
Suddenly—
SHADOW SOLDIERS burst from the walls, surrounding Akira.
But—
Kageyama lifted one finger.
"Stand down.
I will handle him myself."
The soldiers vanished into the darkness.
Kageyama rose from his throne, each step shaking the floor.
He pointed his blade at Akira.
"Any last words… young leader?"
Akira lowered his stance.
"I only need one."
He inhaled sharply—
red aura igniting like a furnace.
"Akira-Ryū…
Crimson Pulse Ignition!"
His body exploded with burning red energy.
Kageyama smirked and spread his arms.
Darkness wrapped around him like a cloak.
"Kageyama-Ryū…
Shadow King's Awakening."
The throne room shook.
The windows cracked.
The floor split open.
Akira charged first.
His blade blazed like molten fire.
"Akira-Ryū…
Crimson Storm Slash!"
He swung—
A burning arc of fire sliced through the air, tearing the throne pillars apart.
Kageyama raised his hand.
"Kageyama-Ryū…
Endless Night Barrier."
Darkness hardened like steel, absorbing the flames.
Akira leapt forward again.
"Akira-Ryū…
Flame Vein Burst!"
His fist detonated against Kageyama's guard—
the shockwave shook the entire room.
Kageyama laughed.
"Too slow."
He vanished—
reappearing behind Akira like a nightmare.
"Kageyama-Ryū…
Death Shadow Pierce."
A spear of darkness shot toward Akira's back—
Akira spun with pure instinct.
"Akira-Ryū…
Inferno Spin Counter!"
Fire and shadow collided—
the explosion blew both of them apart, smashing walls and pillars.
Akira crashed into stone—
blood dripping down his face…
vision blurring…
But he forced himself to stand.
Kageyama stepped out of the smoke completely untouched.
"You're strong…
but strength without rest is weakness."
Akira wiped the blood from his lips.
"I don't need rest.
I just need Rina back."
Their auras surged again—
flames and shadows spiraling, clashing, ripping the castle apart.
Akira pointed his sword straight at the Shadow King.
"This ends…
RIGHT NOW."
Kageyama smiled darkly.
"Come then, young leader.
Show me your final blaze."
To be continued..
