Chapter 840 - Chapter 837

Chapter 837

"Right now, Ron, the only thing you're missing is Rosgell's head. Once you obtain that, this Nen tool of yours will become even more complete—on a whole other level."

Ron shook his head. "I can't get Rosgell's head."

"You can't?"

"That's right. I heard some things about it in Minpo, but I can't acquire it, and there's no way to trade for it either, no matter the price I'd be willing to pay."

Ron continued, "The people in Minpo have other plans for it. They won't hand it over—that much I already understand. I'm satisfied with how Rosgell is now. If I were to add the head, it might trigger other unpredictable changes."

Dominica paused for a moment, then nodded. "That's true. If Rosgell's consciousness were to awaken, it would no longer qualify as a Nen tool."

"By the way, where are you heading next, Ron?"

"To the Hunter Association. The election for the new chairman hasn't concluded yet. Since I have time now, I might as well drop by and see how things are going—and also talk to a few people."

"For the Dark Continent?"

"You could say that."

"Which ship are you taking?"

"Whichever one gets there fastest."

From Dominica's perspective, traveling together with Fiora might have been a better choice. But for Ron, that wasn't the case. The Black Whale from Kakin was always going to be his first step. When it came to Sequence power, being one step ahead could lead to being ahead in everything.

More importantly, Ron still needed to absorb Kakin's traits. He had already absorbed Fiora's. From every angle, Kakin's ship was the more suitable choice for him.

"Wendy, want to come take a look?" Ron invited.

Wendy almost nodded instinctively but glanced at Dominica first. Seeing him nod, she finally agreed. She was no longer just an individual—she now represented the Dragon Dojo.

"Sure." Wendy's face lit up with joy.

Ron turned to Dominica. "Dominica, I'll be heading out now. I checked—there are still tickets for an airship that goes directly there. It'll take two days to arrive. But starting tomorrow, there won't be any left."

Dominica nodded. "Alright."

Ron and Wendy left the Dragon Dojo. Dominica personally saw them off to the airship terminal.

"Ron, Wendy—take care out there."

"Bye, Uncle Dominica."

"Take care, Dominica."

Dominica watched them board the airship. Only after a long while did he look away.

"Ron has already reached S-rank, and he now possesses such a powerful Nen tool. With Rosgell's corpse fused to his Nen beast, he's far beyond the level of an A-rank user."

"By that measure, the Zoldyck family now has three S-rank Nen users."

"As the world's number one assassin family, their position is completely unshakable."

"In terms of Nen power, they're the equivalent of half a V5-level nation."

What Dominica didn't know, however, was that what he understood wasn't even the full extent of Ron's strength. Ron wasn't just S-rank twice over. He had three S-rank Nen beasts—and one Sequence 1.

Wendy looked out the window, her face full of anticipation.

"You haven't left Fiora much in recent years, have you?" Ron asked.

"No. After going to Taris last time, I've pretty much stayed inside the Dragon Dojo, training and sparring with the other two dojos."

Wendy hesitated for a moment. "By the way, Ron… I'm not a member of the Hunter Association. Can I even get in?"

"You don't have voting rights, but getting in is fine."

"Is the Hunter Association interesting?"

"I'm not sure. I don't know much about it myself. I've only participated in a few missions and took the Hunter Exam. I'm not really a core member."

Ron added, "The Association doesn't place strict constraints on its members. Honestly, even if I never show up, no one would care. I just happened to have free time—so I figured I'd take a look."

"When we get there, you and I will probably be in the same position—unless I run into someone I know."

Ron gave Wendy a quick rundown of the situation.

.

Night fell.

They both closed their eyes to rest.

Wendy actually fell asleep, but Ron focused his attention inward—into Sumas's space.

What Ron cared about now was how to further advance his Sequence status.

Just reaching Sequence 1 wasn't enough.

The human world was vast, yet the only Sequence 1 he had ever seen was Rosgell—and he was already dead.

But with the new era approaching, and as humanity pushed deeper into the Dark Continent, it was inevitable that more Sequence users would emerge.

If Ron stopped progressing, someone would eventually surpass him.

Specter sat cross-legged on the ground. A flickering flame pulsed slowly where its head would be.

"According to Rosgell, once you reach Sequence 1, the very nature of your life form evolves. You're no longer human."

"Then, is there a way to train for this?"

"I don't know how to train Sequence power specifically. But when it comes to physical training, it likely remains the same as with humans—no huge difference."

With that in mind, Ron issued a command to Specter.

Specterbegan to train.

At the same time, Natsu and Uchiha Sasuke appeared.

"Gravity Game!"

Natsu attacked Specter, gradually increasing the gravitational force on its body—until it reached thirty times the norm.

"Generally speaking, resistance training is more effective than standard training."

"Squats, push-ups, sit-ups, long-distance runs…"

Each routine was carried out in sequence.

"Chii."

Ron conjured Chii. Through her, he could monitor changes in Specter.

Judging by the eye was never as precise—Chii's calculations would provide a clearer picture.

"Then there's the matter of food."

"Rosgell can eat now."

"He's no longer just a Nen beast."

"The higher the quality of the lifeform, the more energy it can provide."

"Fortunately, I already prepared plenty in Sumas's space."

Initially, Ron had stocked food in preparation for his Gourmet Cells. But now, it came in handy once again.

By the time the first light of dawn appeared, Wendy was already awake.

She didn't disturb Ron, quietly leaving the room and heading up to the airship deck.

Off in the distance, the sun was slowly rising over the edge of the sky.
