Lei Qian stepped back at once when he saw the machete coming down at him.
"What are you doing?" He almost shrieked when he saw Bai Meiyue bearing the machete and aiming at his head. A chill climbed up his neck, and his legs almost turned into jelly when he saw what the woman was doing. Fortunately, he was alert, or else he would have ended up losing his head tonight.
Bai Meiyue's eyes widened before returning to normal. She glared at the man and said to him, "I should be the one asking you this. What are you doing? Why are you sneaking inside the room like a thief? Do you even know how scared I was?"
Lei Qian: "..."
He looked at the machete in the woman's hands and blinked his eyes. She was scared? If she were scared and bearing a machete, what would she have done if she were not scared? Killed him in one shot? He was truly terrified of this woman!
