The trio walked through the main part of the palace, not caring if anyone saw them or not.
Terrance and Lucas weren't scared of the mermaids. To them, those creatures were incredibly weak.
One of the triton guards saw them approaching. With a smile, he said, "Lord Terrance and Lucas, what are you doing walking around this late?"
Only after a few seconds did the triton realize William was there with them. The creature frowned.
"Who is this person?"
Without saying a word, Lucas unsheathed his sword and cut the triton's head off, killing the creature instantly. Blueish liquid spattered across the floor, and the sound of the falling corpse alerted the other guards.
"Prepare to kill the rest coming our way," Lucas said. "You don't even need to fight, William. Let us handle this."
"And miss all the fun? No way!" William replied with a cheeky smile.
