Lily nodded, noticing the interest in his eyes.
"Interested?" she asked.
Ewan nodded. "As long as it can bring money, I want to have something to give you too," he replied.
Lily chuckled softly. "Nah, there's no need for that," she commented.
Ewan smirked. "I can't just sit idle, enjoying someone else's wealth. That's the real definition of uselessness. If I live like that, even I would end up hating myself," he remarked.
Lily nodded thoughtfully. "You do have a point," she acknowledged. "But don't rush it. Sometimes rushing leads to disaster," she cautioned. "You're still not in good health yet. You need more rest," she added.
Ewan chuckled lightly. "I'm not that delicate," he joked.
Lily rolled her eyes. "From now on, you're not allowed to be nonchalant about your body and health again. Understood?"
Ewan nodded obediently. "Always listen to Angel," he commented with a smile—but his expression suddenly froze. "This line feels familiar," he thought.
