Tang Li Yue closed her eyes for one second.

Lin Shuying's fingers tightened around the doorframe. "If the annex has people restrained like I was, my ability might help disrupt their devices."
"And your son will watch his mother walk back toward the people who took her from him less than a day ago?"

Minghao's hand tightened around her sleeve.
