Greetings. This world of ours is filled with so many interesting heroes. Some in the Super Society. Some not. Weve looked at some of these heroes occupying he state of Stickville, but lets look at some occupying Commonwealth shall we?
Coast City, West Commonwealth: 2148
Mr. Biscuit, one of Canman's old contacts, works at a local factory. On his way home from work, he uses his "muman" abilities to stop a car from crashing. The owner of the car, a billionaire named Oliver Task, takes an immediate interest in Biscuit.
Once Biscuit heads home to spend time with his girlfriend, Marge, Oliver arrives at their door. He tells Biscuit he is assembling a team of supers to protect Coast City. Biscuit is reluctant, but Marge convinces him to join, thinking of the pay since they are struggling financially.
The Next Day
Biscuit arrives at Oliver's Tower and meets his team: Peter Pine, Stripe, Burnaboy, and Creature. The team holds their first training session in Oliver's secret facility, but they fail miserably.
Oliver soon sends them on their first mission: to stop an eco-terrorist from destroying one of his factories. Biscuit tells him the team isn't ready for combat, but Stripe—feeling her pride was hurt—agrees to go and convinces the rest of the team to follow.
The team arrives and faces the terrorist, who goes by the name Exterminator. They are nearly killed, but a well-placed attack from Peter Pine turns the fight in their favor and they defeat him. The team returns to Oliver's Tower to celebrate, but Biscuit is angry at Oliver for sending them in when they weren't ready. He warns Oliver, "Don't ever do that again."
Stripe tells Oliver she wants to be the leader of the team, but Oliver refuses because he believes Biscuit will eventually come around. Oliver then leaves to attend a secret meeting.
At home, Biscuit considers quitting, but Marge convinces him otherwise. Soon, Peter Pine appears; he wants to take Biscuit on a trip to bond with the team. Biscuit refuses, but Marge insists on going, so Biscuit is forced to tag along. They end up at a local bowling alley where Creature (in her human form, Stacy) and Burnaboy are waiting. The group bowls to their hearts' content while Stripe watches them from outside the building.
Suddenly, Stacy defeats one of the bowlers, and he mutates into a monster made of bowling pins. The team works together to defeat him. Once the monster is taken in by the police, Officer Darling meets with the heroes and urges them to join the police force or the Super Society, but they refuse. Darling gives them his number anyway.
Once the group is finished, they head home. Burnaboy and Stacy stay at Biscuit's house, and Marge begins to see them as her own children. Peter, however, heads off for an important meeting.
Stripe returns to her home to watch over her near-death, cryogenically frozen father. He was one of the first-ever supers, predating even the "First Five," known as Patriot.
Meanwhile, Oliver meets with the person who was the primary reason he formed the team: the leader of the Superior Gang, mob boss Rob Moss. Rob tells Oliver that a rival gang, Cyberforce, is staging a prison break and he needs Oliver to take care of them. Peter meets up with Oliver and Rob Moss, and the plan is set.
A Week Later
The team is training and learning how to battle properly until Oliver arrives with a mission. He claims there is going to be a prison break at Coast City Penitentiary and he needs them to stop it. He tells them his goal is to make the team the prison's paid bodyguards, and this is their chance.
The team arrives at the prison and battles the escaping criminals. They have an easy time at first until someone disables the collars that block muman powers. This leads to several criminals overpowering the team. Villains like Brute, Ink, and Oyster escape, along with Cyberforce members Virtual, Virus, Trojan, and Worm.
The Cyberforce members are ordered by their leader, Cypher—who used his powers to organize the breakout—to kill Biscuit and his team. While the team is being defeated by Cyberforce, more criminals escape. Biscuit realizes the team truly isn't ready.
Suddenly, a mysterious vigilante named Rocket Man appears, bearing a resemblance to the Super Society veteran, Captain Rocket. Rocket Man defeats Cyberforce, causing them to retreat. Stripe tries to ask who he is, but he escapes. Biscuit and Peter try to chase him down but are unsuccessful.
Back at the base, Oliver scolds the team for allowing Cyberforce to escape. When Stripe tries to defend them, Biscuit agrees and tells Oliver, "We need more training."
Biscuit and Stripe get into a fight about who should lead the team, and Peter has to step in to stop them from killing each other. Stacy and Burnaboy follow Biscuit home to bond, but he kicks them out. Luckily, Marge lets them stay and scolds Biscuit for how he treats the team, leading to a massive argument.
In a fit of rage, Biscuit leaves town and ends up at a bar in neighboring Beach City. While drunk, he is seduced by a woman named Loretta. He goes to her home but regains his senses; he refuses to sleep with her and falls asleep instead. Feeling respect for his integrity, Loretta lets him stay the night.
The Next Day
Stacy panics about Biscuit's disappearance, but Marge calms her down, trusting that he isn't in trouble. Stacy and Burnaboy head to the base to train. Peter goes to visit his sick sister, promising to find the funds to cure her, before being picked up by Oliver for a meeting with "the Boss."
Oliver is thoroughly scolded by Rob Moss due to the prison fiasco. Now that Cyberforce is back in action, Rob orders Peter, "Kill Oliver if he doesn't get rid of them."
Meanwhile, Cypher meets with his gang to formulate a plan to take over the city once the Superior Gang is dealt with. To get rid of the new supers, Cypher and Trojan use their powers to turn a lizard into a giant dragon and send it into the city.
Biscuit wakes up and finds out what happened. Loretta assures him nothing happened between them, which calms him, and he heads home.
The Next Day
The team sees the dragon attacking the city and leaps into action. They battle the creature with Stripe leading and manage to take it down. However, the dragon transforms into a humanoid form and uses a new ability to turn nearby lizards into monsters. As they are surrounded, Rocket Man arrives to help.
Rocket Man faces the "Cyberdragon" one-on-one and almost loses, but Biscuit arrives just in time to help defeat it. They try to interrogate the creature, but it self-destructs before they can get any information.
Afterward, Biscuit asks Rocket Man to join the team, but he refuses, saying, "I can't fully commit to being in a team."
Biscuit returns to Marge and the two reconcile. Suddenly, Officer Darling arrives with shocking news. He tells Biscuit, "You're under arrest for Loretta's murder."
The Next Day
Frank (Biscuit) is taken to prison. Darling explains that Loretta was shot dead in her apartment right after Frank left. Frank vehemently denies it, and Marge backs his story. Peter and the team hear the news and tell Oliver. Luckily, Oliver has an "inside" contact.
Oliver and Peter go to Rob Moss. Rob refuses to help at first, but a member named Buzzshock—who is interested in Peter—convinces him. He introduces them to Mindwipe, who can settle the mess.
Oliver, Peter, and Mindwipe arrive at the morgue. Mindwipe reads Loretta's dead mind and discovers a man named Antonio killed her the moment Frank left. They head to Beach City to confront him.
Meanwhile, Virus and Worm attack the police station to kill Frank, plowing through the local police. Darling frees Frank to fight back. Frank is fatally wounded while saving a local cop named Anthony; his bravery inspires Anthony to stand his ground. Stripe, Burnaboy, and Stacy arrive just in time, and after a hectic battle, they take down Virus and Worm. This further inspires Anthony, who develops a crush on Stripe. However, Virtual arrives and teleports his teammates back to their base. Frank is rushed to the hospital.
The Next Day
Peter, Oliver, and Mindwipe arrive at Antonio's house and discover he is a member of the Beach City mob. Peter kills the mobsters while Oliver and Mindwipe find Antonio. Antonio attacks them in a stolen robotic suit, but Mindwipe mind-controls him into confessing while Oliver records it. Mindwipe then gives Antonio a fatal seizure. With its owner dead, the suit flies away; Oliver recognizes it as the armor worn by the legendary hero, Steel.
Marge arrives at the hospital with Burnaboy and Stacy to comfort Frank. Darling arrives with good news: "Antonio provided proof that Frank is innocent before committing suicide." Frank is cleared of all charges, and the group celebrates until the nurses kick them out.
The Next Day
Cypher scolds his gang for failing to kill Frank but promises they will still take down the city. He calls on an old friend, Vizard the Great, to help defeat the team.
Oliver sends the team to the far-off island of Kultur to rescue its king, Phatcat, after he was kidnapped. They arrive via plane and meet locals who claim evil spirits took the king. Stripe is suspicious, but Frank assures her, "Spirits are real."
In the forest, they are attacked by strange creatures. Frank realizes these are the "spirits" and orders the team to feign defeat so they can be captured. They are taken to a base inside a volcano where they find Phatcat and a monster named Tiki Tiki.
Tiki explains that Phatcat was a tyrant who treated his people like dirt. The people's prayers were answered when an unknown being gave a man powers and the name Tiki. Tiki tells the team, "Abandon the mission and allow me to sacrifice Phatcat to the gods of the island."
Frank refuses. The team battles Tiki's army, and Frank is defeated in single combat. As Tiki begins the ritual, Stripe loses her cool and launches Tiki into a pit of lava, killing him. This angers the gods, triggering a massive volcanic eruption.
As they evacuate the village, Frank calls Oliver for help. Oliver reluctantly calls Rob Moss to assist. As the lava approaches, a powerful muman named Scion appears. Using elemental powers, he freezes the lava and stops the volcano.
Before Frank can thank him, Scion hits him with a fire blast and says, "We are eternal enemies, and we will face each other in battle soon enough." Stripe tries to attack, but Peter stops her, warning, "You don't stand a chance." Scion leaves, leaving Frank in critical condition.
Meanwhile
While the team was away, Virus, Trojan, and Worm rob Gentech Laboratory. Anthony, seeing the police are outmatched, decides being a cop isn't enough. He suits up as a superhero called "The Star," wearing a costume inspired by Stripe. He is nearly killed by Virus, but a scientist named Dr. Gene finds him and bonds him to a private experimental exoskeleton.
Star returns to the fight and takes down Worm, Trojan, and Virus. Cypher and Virtual teleport in and dispatch Star. Just as Cypher is about to leave, Rocket Man arrives. They have an intense aerial battle; Cypher wins but is fatally wounded. Virtual teleports the gang away. As Star leaves, he finds an injured little girl and discovers that she is actually Rocket Man. He rushes her to the hospital.
The Next Day
The team returns, and Darling tells them about the Gentech robbery. Frank, though wounded, chastises Oliver for protecting a tyrant like Phatcat. In a rage, Oliver threatens to fire him. Frank retorts, "I quit," right then and there.
Burnaboy, Stacy, and Stripe all quit as well to join Frank. Peter, shockingly, stays with Oliver.
Cyberforce celebrates acquiring a powerful piece of technology called "The Matrix." Vizard arrives, noting that the distraction he created with Tiki Tiki was successful.
Rob Moss arrives at Oliver's base and threatens to kill him for losing the team. Anticipating this, Oliver reveals a suit of armor called "The Tank." He attacks Rob and orders Peter—who was actually Rob's mole—to kill Oliver. Oliver defeats Peter using the suit.
Rob then reveals his true identity as Scion and uses his immense power to crush Oliver's armor. In a desperate bid to survive, Oliver activates a failsafe and blasts away, triggering a self-destruct sequence that levels his tower. Scion and Peter survive behind a forcefield. Scion pledges to hunt Oliver down and destroy Cyberforce to claim the city for himself.
The Next Day
Frank wakes up in the hospital surrounded by Marge and his friends. They discuss the destruction of Task Towers. Stripe suggests, "You should become a bounty hunter." Frank agrees, not wanting to work for corrupt monsters anymore.
Suddenly, Dr. Gene arrives with Star and the little girl, Amy (Rocket Man). He looks at the group and says, "I want to form my own team."
