Alpha didn't understand it. She became confused and said, "...Three hours? And it's... dangerous? Are there killers or something?" And Alpha laughed gently, joking at me.
But I looked at her seriously, the mask was still on my face but I took my eyes down and I smiled and said, "I was just kidding, they all would be in the assembly hall...most probably."
Alpha smiled with a sweat... most probably? But it make sense, Alpha realized that if Zero has never gone and attended the assembly, how he would even know.
Alpha turned with a sweat, and started walking away--
But suddenly Zero asked, "By the way... how much do your parents make, I mean their income?"
Alpha was left stunned...God of Time was left stunned...what Zero even asked?! What's her parents' income?!
Alpha turned towards shameless Zero again and smiled with a sweat and answered, "Well... that's a strange question, but they don't make much, like 40,000 every month."
Zero was surprised, "Oh! So you are rich?"
Alpha started sweating more...how it can consider her rich? It's more like middle class in her view.
"I don't even have that much... being family less and making 200 every month by part time. Anyways, you can go now, I just asked with curiosity."
Alpha was a little bit surprised..she didn't expect that he would have no family, and does everything on his own. She was now curious about him, but she knew that talking about it could hurt him, so she just left the classroom without any more words.
<"Are you mad?!!!! How can you ask someone someone's income so shamelessly?!!!!">
Zero turned away his face, looked throughout the window and replied, "You only said, "rich girl" don't you?"
<"Rich from heart and soul!!!!!">
Zero finally laughed from inside and kept his eyes outside the window.
And God of Time was depressed, standing at a corner and said, "Why...? Is this the real Zero who became Sacrificer, A Galaxy?"
Alpha walked to the assembly hall and suddenly her friends spotted her and with a smile ran to her and started talking before the assembly begins.
For the last five minutes, she was only thinking about Zero but suddenly her thoughts shifted and she forgot about him and focused on having fun with her friends and classmates.
Zero was still looking outside the window... and suddenly he remembered.
"...Who was the first person to die after that?"
God of Time was stunned for a second...but finally, finally she realized that Zero has finally started understanding, she couldn't stop her tears of happiness...she wanted to cry loudly, because it took decades for her to explain him.
Zero thought for a while, looking serious and said, "...I don't know about this whole world. I will need to think...I have last two hours, I can't afford to lose this time again..."
God of Time finally smiled, realising that Zero can be serious...and suddenly she started sweating, realising that the problem was also she, she could help him better but she doesn't thinks that the world wouldn't be the same if she doesn't does that, and especially because of the Constellation giving the strength to Alpha, she can't afford to tell Zero because he would have no hopes from himself to achieve something which she doesn't wishes to now, and in those hopes he can't help her either.
God of Time looks at Zero from far...and said, "But...why you don't have interest in anything now?"
Alpha continued talking with her friends and enjoying life, and two students were looking at her from far...and suddenly the third guy also came--
"Everyone!!!" Suddenly the principal of the school came on the stage and said, "Please take your position, we are now going to start our Assembly. Please take your position and please stop talking."
Everyone started taking their positions, standing in the lines and columns of their classes and the assembly began. But they were having no doubt, they weren't feeling strange but Alpha did, she really felt strange with a question in her mind.
'... Principal has came to order that? That's strange... weren't there the P.T. teacher for that? Since when principal started doing that?'
But Alpha kept her questions aside and just ignored it and the assembly started.
But the more strange things were, there weren't all the teachers, there were only a few and...they were also acting weird, like they have just now got another personality. Everyone was smiling brightly with closed eyes, and...it looked scary for a moment, but no one noticed it, not even Alpha cared about it much.
The principal remain on his position, holding a mic and started, "My dear students, this is a big day for everyone of us, this is the day when our school will go to peak, because someone special, someone great is going to join the school. Please join your hands, close your eyes and welcome the godess!!!"
Alpha was shocked, this never happened before. Many students like her didn't understand it, but a few actually joined their hands, closed their eyes and bowed down. Everything was looking weird, Alpha couldn't understand it, "What's happening? Goddess?"
Those who were confused like Alpha, also didn't join the hands, but as they saw almost one fourth of all the students were doing it without any hesitation and questions, so everyone started following it even if they weren't understanding anything.
Slowly slowly, everyone bowed down but Alpha still didn't, she couldn't accept a cult without knowing about it, she can't accept without any reason.
A woman started walking on the stage and came on the centre of the stage...and Alpha's eyes widened.
Suddenly a flashback came in her eyes, the vision of someone knew...but she had never saw the vision ever before, at least not in this life. But Alpha's lips moved and she said, "...The Mistress?"
The Mistress looked at her, and suddenly Alpha's eyes turned into black and Alpha on her own bowed down, joining her hands... and she closed her eyes.
