Once everyone was done eating, Elora waved her hand slightly in the air, and Albert took it as a signal to send all the maids out and leave the room to them.
The plates were quickly removed, leaving behind a jug of wine, a jug of water, and a platter of fruit.
Albert was the last to leave. He closed the door behind him, leaving the five of them in the dining room.
Elora wiped the corner of her lips and leaned back in her chair. Her gaze then fell on Ian.
"How did the cure test go?"
Ian straightened up at her question. He took out a vial from his ring, the blue-coloured liquid sloshing around with his movement.
"Your Majesty, here it is. The one tested on the man was the final cure. The plague didn't return like it did with the others," Ian explained.
His words caused Kyros to straighten up in his seat in shock.
"Is it for... Ashvein?" he asked in a trembling, hushed voice. His heart was struck with shock, and he could hardly believe it.
"Yes, it is."
