Elora and Thorn went through two more hair-raising rides before finally reaching the last tunnel.
One took them through a landscape swamp with creatures, while the other sent them racing through a forest where beasts swung their claws and attacked them.
The sledge dodged almost every attack, taking only a few hits. Once the next ride began, however, the damage was repaired, leaving it as good as new.
"How are you feeling?" Elora asked with concern as she rubbed Thorn's back while he leaned over the side, retching.
His face was deathly pale, and his head and stomach ached from the ride's turbulent speed and sharp turns.
He shook his head weakly in response before resting it on her thighs. She gently massaged his head, hoping to ease his discomfort.
"Close your eyes and sleep. We should be in the last tunnel now," Elora muttered softly, her gaze falling on a sign that read:
[Congratulations! You've survived to the last tunnel.]
