Time ticked by, second by second.
Soon, Seimei had fully absorbed the memories and experiences of his shadow clones.
A moment later, he opened his eyes again.
As expected, after digesting the past hour of training experience from his shadow clones, he gained new insights into developing his Ice Release.

That evening, after emerging from the sea and absorbing his shadow clones' training experiences and memories, Seimei paused.
Today marked the tenth day of his intense training. Though he'd had meat to eat the past two days, it still didn't compare to relaxing in the village.
So, he decided not to extend this training session. After ten days, he planned to head back to the Hidden Leaf Village for some rest.

With a thought, Seimei opened his proficiency panel.

The journey was long, and it took him a while.
Even though his flight speed was impressive, he slowed down here and there to enjoy the scenery. Still, he made it back to the outskirts of the Hidden Leaf Village before nightfall.
From the air, he scanned the surroundings, confirming no one was in the forest below before descending.
The rest was simple. With sharp senses and the power of Heaven's Control, he slipped through the village's barrier, avoided crowds, and made it home unnoticed.
Everything went smoothly.
Once home, Seimei immediately dispelled the Shadow Clone Technique, reabsorbing the clone he'd left behind.
Instantly, ten days' worth of memories flooded his mind.
Through them, he got a clear picture of what had happened in the village over the past ten days.
The truth was, for a large organization like the Hidden Leaf, no single person was indispensable.
Orochimaru's defection had caused a stir before, but as time passed, it was barely mentioned anymore.
The village kept running like clockwork, unaffected.
And as for Seimei—a ninja who only returned for the occasional mission and otherwise stayed away—he hadn't made any waves in the village's operations either.
It just went to show: don't think too highly of yourself. Unless you mess with someone's interests, most people don't have the time to care about you.

Snapping out of his thoughts, Seimei stopped overthinking. He quickly shed his gear, took a nice hot bath, changed into casual clothes, and headed straight for "Food Street."
After stuffing himself silly, night had fully fallen.
Back home, Seimei rested briefly before starting his final training session of the day—nurturing his Byakugan.
He released the seal on his forehead, revealing the Byakugan.
Then, he activated All-Encompassing Seal, linking it to the Byakugan.
Preparations complete.
Seimei focused, drawing a large amount of chakra from the sealed space in his forehead. After compressing it twice through the seal, he channeled the highly potent chakra into his Byakugan.
A familiar tingling sensation washed over him, and he closed his eyes in comfort.
Splitting his focus, he carefully monitored the Byakugan's evolution process while ensuring a steady flow of chakra from the sealed space.
At the same time, he devoted a sliver of his attention to comparing this process with the Mind's Reflection Technique used on his Sharingan, hoping to find a more efficient way to evolve his Byakugan.
Time ticked by.
Three and a half hours later, when Seimei felt a swelling sensation in his Byakugan, he knew he'd hit his limit.
No need to waste chakra. He opened his eyes.
Glancing at the panel, he checked the Byakugan's progress in the bloodline section before focusing entirely on recalling the nurturing process.
Time kept passing.
The training room was silent.
About fifteen minutes later, Seimei opened his eyes again and let out a soft sigh.
No surprise—he hadn't gained any useful insights or figured out a technique like Mind's Reflection for his Byakugan.
But he was used to coming up empty, so it didn't bother him much.
Clearing his mind, he left the training room, washed up, and headed to bed.
The night passed quietly.

The first thing he did was check his proficiency panel.
As expected, his Chakra Refining Technique was at level 6 (9998/10000). In just an hour or two, it would level up.
Without hesitation, he got out of bed, washed up quickly, heated up some food he'd bought the day before, and ate. Then he sat cross-legged in the training room, quietly waiting for the Chakra Refining Technique to advance.
As everyone knows, the jump from level 6 to 7 is often when a skill undergoes a qualitative leap.
As his main method for unlocking his potential, the level 6 Chakra Refining Technique was starting to fall short of his needs. He was eager for it to level up.
That's why he was taking this so seriously.
