Under a shady tree, Netero stood before his two students while raising his four fingers.
"There are Ten, Zetsu, Ren, and Hatsu. These four are the four main principles of Nen."
"Ten focuses the mind, contemplates, and determine the goal. Zetsu Put it into words. Ren, intensify the will. Hatsu, manifest it."
"Ives, how do you feel? You must feel stronger and youthful after opening all your Aura, right?" Netero turned to one of his students.
"It feels... strange, in a good way. If before my body felt like it was chained, now I feel free and light." He answered while looking at his hands, coated with Nen. "From what you just explained, is this what Ten means?"
"That's right, you've managed to master Ten even without my instructions. Ten means to cover your body with Aura without letting it leak out." Netero nodded.
"I still don't understand what you're talking about. I roughly know what it is, but I can't see what Ives is getting at." Biscuit tried to glare at the man's hands, but it was all nothing. Aura? She didn't see it.
"Hohoho, that's because you haven't awakened your Aura yet, Biscuit. When you open your Aura Nodes, you'll be able to see it." Netero chuckled.
"Even so, I'm sure you can feel it a little bit, Am I right?" He stroke his chin.
"Kind of? It feels a little warm, but that's it." Biscuit nodded hesitantly.
"So, do you want to feel something stronger? I can show you."
"Really?!" Biscuit's eyes immediately lit up, looking excited. This mysterious power piqued her curiosity, and unfortunately, Ives preceded her. She didn't want to be left behind!
"Hey, hey, isn't that dangerous?" Ives' eye twitched.
"Well, worry not, I'll just show her a little bit." Netero replied with a wink.
"I don't want to believe you..."
"Okay, Biscuit, do you want to feel it while standing or sitting?"
"Standing, I want to feel it with my whole body." Biscuit jumped and landed on both feet. "I'm ready!" Taking a stance, she was fully prepared to feel Nen.
"Alright. Here I come~" As Netero's smile lifted, something, like an explosion, radiated from within his body.
From Ives' perspective, he saw Netero's condensed bloodlust. The ill intent was directed towards him and Biscuit, but, unlike Biscuit, he was protected by Ten.
After five seconds, Netero retracted his Aura and asked with a chuckle, "How is it? Satisfied?" Seeing Biscuit with trembling legs and a closed mouth, Netero smiled.
"Biscuit, are you okay?" He gets up and helps calm her down.
"Unn, I'm fine." She nodded while still shaking.
"Here, let me help you." Crouching in front of the girl, Netero raised his index finger and wrote something in the air, after which he patted Biscuit's shoulder.
Miraculously, Biscuit, still scared and shaking a second ago, suddenly became calm and looked refreshed.
"Th-this feeling is so magical." Biscuit blinked innocently, utterly amazed at what she just felt. "Familiar feeling, it's like something the woman we met before did, what was her name again? Lonnett?"
"Linnet." Ives correct her.
"That's right, Linnet." Biscuit nodded, clapping her hands.
"Oh?" Netero suddenly raised his eyebrows. What a familiar name.
"You know her, Master?" Ives asked. He knew Netero was friends with Linnet, but he still wanted to ask.
"No, no, of course not." Netero chuckled again as he narrowed his eyes.
"..." Not only is this old man a pervert, but he also loves to lie. Could Netero be the reason Biscuit developed her original future personality? Maybe...
