About a thousand years ago, a brutal war broke out when the Darkgod rose against Zeus, a battle that raged for months.
As Zeus squared off against the Dark Emperor, the heavens shook with every blow, and mountains crumbled beneath the force of their clash. The fighting was so fierce that the Celestial Realm itself was torn open, spilling into the Earth Realm below.
Eventually, their battle moved to Earth, and the damage it left behind was catastrophic. Ecosystems collapsed. Plantations withered until they were scarcely seen at all, and crop growth failed across the land.
A great famine gripped the planet in the wake of the Darkgod's death, and it took two hundred years for the Earth to recover.
