The road across the border was still relatively smooth because a prior notice had been sent, and the police had arranged personnel at the border to make notifications. Jimmy and his three-car convoy smoothly passed the Mexico border and, after inspections on the United States side, encountered the people from the El Paso DEA office.
They were there to receive Jimmy and his group. Although they had already been treated in Juarez, most of these people were injured, so the El Paso personnel accompanied them back to Albuquerque and promptly went to the arranged hospital for further examinations. Relatively speaking, the big hospitals in the United States were far better compared to those in Juárez City, and these people were not insignificant figures, so this of treatment was expected.
