Actually, there is one thing Chen Wanqing hasn't lied about—he never really wanted to hurt the Boss!
Su Xuan's brother likes Chen Wanqing, and that affection is genuine. Chen Wanqing's feelings are also real, but it's a case of the right person at the wrong time. Chen Wanqing is a spy, and a high-level spy at that. His real name is Che Xiao, and just as Su Xuan predicted, he underwent plastic surgery and entered Huaxia under a different identity!
When the Boss was still the Director, his unique perspective saw the promise in the Boss's future. So he decided to join his ranks without hesitation, becoming one of his inner circle!
Initially, he felt no affection for the Boss; his focus was on the mission, on stealing some data. Yet he unexpectedly found himself falling for the Director, sinking deeper into the affection. Nevertheless, once a spy, always a spy; he could turn a blind eye to some matters.
