"Servants, the Princess Consort wishes to bathe, bring some hot water!"
Prince Liang stood up and shouted outward.
"Yes, sir!"
The maid waiting outside responded quickly and rushed to prepare.
Soon, several maids filed in.
Some carried the Noble Consort's bathtub, others brought cloth towels and soap beans, while some carried buckets of steaming hot water.
The maids entered the inner cleansing room, placed the bathtub properly, then poured the hot water inside.
Splash!
Splash, splash!
The maids carrying water ran back and forth twice more, finally filling the large bathtub to about seventy percent full.
"Prince, we're ready! Do you need us to assist the Princess Consort with her bath?"
The leading maid respectfully spoke to Prince Liang.
She spoke of "assisting the Princess Consort" and seemed to hold deep respect for He Tiantian, the Princess Consort.
