Shi Mei watched her figure recede and couldn't help but sigh, "City folks really know how to have fun."
Because she had promised Shi Lingyan, Shi Mei didn't wander off but found a spot with fewer people to wait, and in less than three minutes, she received a phone call.
Unexpectedly, it wasn't Shi Lingyan on the other end but a call from Grandma Shi.
Seeing the word "Grandma" on the screen, Shi Mei hesitated, feeling inexplicably nervous. After a pause, she picked up the phone and answered, "Hello?"
"Hey!" Grandma Shi's voice came through quickly, and she sounded quite happy. "Senior Sister, where are you now?"
"I'm in... I'm in Imperial City."
Shi Mei almost blurted out that she was at school but managed to correct herself in time.
Grandma Shi 'Oh oh' twice, and then said cheerfully, "Is that so? Where in Imperial City are you? Would it be okay for grandma to come find you for a visit?"
