Led by Gild and the others, I passed through the gate of the 12th sector.
As my eyes landed on the sight before me, my brows couldn't help but twitch. It seemed like a slum and country side village in on.
The houses closer to the gate were run down and in dire need of repare. As I walked further into the sector, the houses became better. It didn't seem like they cared about this place at all.
'They probebly didn't.'
These were people that were against the goddess afterall. It made sense, but it didn't get any less upsetting. My gaze wondered, eventually, landing on a woman who sat on the ground at the side of a delapidated house.
She look heavily malnurished, like she had not eaten in days. I felt a pang in my heart. Then my gaze landed on a man muching on a single peice of bread, savouring it as if was his last meal. I felt a weight on my chest.
As we walked I saw more people, each live the same way, some slightly better some worse, some fighting for food, some sharing. I felt my heart breaking.
We walked futher, I saw more people, this time, they were living much better than the ones from before. If I didn't know better, Id think they were happy. But I knew they wern't, I didn't even need the feel their emotions.
'Their eyes.'
Everyone that I saw from before and now had hollow eyes, as if they were just empty shells, just existing.
Emotions bubbled inside me, most were mine, but some... Some came from something deeper. Somewhere, I was not completely sure was me.
Still, even if these were foreign emotions.
'I still need to help them.'
Yes... Yes, it was like this. I had to help them, not just because of the emotions, but because I needed followers, and they were the perfect candidates.

I stood before a large two-story shrine-like building. It was the largest and best-looking building within the sector.
With a soft smile, I turn to Gild, who spoke.
"We have built this shrine for you to live in while you're here." His head turned to the building. "I would like to apologize in advance. There is nothing in there other than a bed, as we had no time to put anything else in, as we had rushed to build this."
"That is fine." I replied quickly, giving him an understanding look.
'I didn't even expect anything to be built so quickly, much less something this big.'
I took a step forward, entering the building—my new home.
As I did such, the three order members turned around and walked away, believing I no longer needed them.
While it was spacious, it was as they said.
'Completely barren.'
There were four doors on the first floor. I walked and checked each one.
First door. Empty
Second door. Empty
Third door. Empty
Fourth door. Em—
'Wait, what?'
As I opened the doors, what greeted me completely stunned me. I was I complete shock.
It made no sense.
It didn't make sense.
How was this here?
It shouldn't be here.
This truly made no sense.
'WHY THE FUCK DO THEY HAVE BATHROOMS WITH TOILETS AND SHOWERS?'
'HOW!'
I screamed mentally. This... This was truly incomprehensible.
