Chapter 100 - Interlines 2- The start of a age

A devastated city.

An entire country torn to pieces overnight.

And a legend that will go down in history.

Most history books describe the event as one of the hardest blows to humanity since the era of the legendary witches who ravaged the land of Rishon until its complete fracturing. They speak with horror of the fierce battle between two beings who resembled gods of thunder and water. The land of water would valiantly remember the heroes of water and fire for protecting the refugees, even at the cost of the water hero's life, who stopped the storm witch.

However… the story didn't end there.

Historians continue to debate its origin.

Some say its first appearance was during the attack on a small village in the territory of Granest.

Others say it appeared during the fight with the legendary witch of deceit, where it was defeated but escaped alive.

And still others say it all began with the fall of the water capital.

Giants that could crush houses as if they were made of paper. Plants that grew abnormally and crushed even the bravest knights, armor and all. Green formations hurled stones like siege weapons from afar. Flowers that emerged from nowhere and released poisonous gases.

The descriptions are so varied and ridiculous that some even question their veracity.

At the time, many names arose based on their abilities or brutality, but the survivors of that day repeat one name. According to the story, the witch herself didn't name herself, but the inhabitants had one to refer to her. A name that, just by pronouncing it, froze the blood of those who saw their city destroyed.

The Witch of Ruin.

Despite all the discussions, there is one thing that all historians unanimously agree on.

The fall of the water capital was the beginning of what would be considered "the Age of Ruin."
