Rocks fly back and forth. Dozens of them fly in various directions at once. Many simply crash into the floor or the dome's ceiling.
Clang!
Others collide as they fly in all directions.
Clang!
And still others strike a person in the center of this enormous spectacle. Despite the number and force of each rock, few actually cause the man to collide with them. Though there once seemed to be a strategy behind them, now it's simply a spectacle of chaos and randomness.
Clang!
Even so…
Clang!
- "Uggg"
A huge groan echoes in the room. The last rock was hastily deflected. The man's joints creaked as his breathing and posture faltered. His face, contorted with pain, is painted orange by the fire burning above his head. To the man, the rocks are like enormous hammers seeking to end his life.
Clang!
The slowness of his movements is becoming increasingly clear. Although he deflected a huge rock headed for his head, inertia slammed him to the ground. A slight tremor is becoming more and more evident in his body.
- "Haha…."
Watching from the spectator's seat makes it painfully obvious… or should I say amusingly obvious?
Clang!
But even though his limits have already been reached.
Clang!
Despite the obvious disadvantage of a one-sided fight!
Clang!
Despite the obvious despair!!
Clang!
He keeps getting up!!!
- Pfff
That's the first noise to erupt in my silent room.
- Hahahahahhahahahahahah
Followed by a loud laugh.
- This human is… very interesting! It would be a shame to let him die here!
The man's silhouette was still reflected in the crystal ball as he repelled the rocks. His gallant yet pathetic figure only fueled my interest in him.
- I definitely have to let him live. This little drama they've created will definitely be worth watching. Besides…
I approached the crystal ball and gently dragged my finger across it. The man's image vanished in an instant, returning to complete darkness.
- You're on the edge too, aren't you, my little flower?
