As they reached the corridor, Minghao turned toward Qing Qing.
"Which class do you have next?"
Qing Qing checked her timetable.
"Mathematics."
"Mine too! We're going in the same direction, then."
Qing Qing looked relieved.
"That's good. I was still trying to remember the way to my classroom."
"Don't worry. You'll get used to it. Besides, you can always find me if you need help."
They walked together through the busy corridor, occasionally stepping aside to let other students pass. When they reached the staircase, Minghao spotted Qin Xinyu approaching from the opposite direction.
"Xinyu!"
He looked up and walked over to them.
"Have you two forgotten something?"
"No," Minghao replied. "We're just going to class."
"I have debate practice after school," he reminded them. "Don't forget to meet me at the library entrance."
"We won't," Minghao assured him.
Qin Xinyu turned to Qing Qing.
