The first clash between the swords produced an explosion so violent that the entire arena sank several centimeters. A wave of pressure swept through the coliseum, striking the protective barriers and causing thousands of spectators to cling to their seats. Musashi slid backward, keeping both blades raised, while Shuten-dōji advanced through the dust with a fierce smile.
"HAHAHA! NOW THAT'S MORE LIKE IT, YOU SON OF A BITCH!" Shuten roared, spinning her enormous sword above her head. The violet flames surrounding the weapon expanded, forming a gigantic arc that swept across the arena from one end to the other. "LET'S SEE YOU DODGE THIS SHIT!"
Musashi observed the attack's trajectory and let out a small sigh. The wave of energy was nearly fifty meters tall and advanced with enough force to destroy an entire city if there weren't barriers surrounding the battlefield. However, its size wasn't what truly concerned him.
The energy was unevenly distributed.
