Vergil held Stella's hand, interlacing his fingers with hers as he walked her to the bathtub. The warm water was already drawn, and the slowly rising steam carried the soft scent of the bath products she had chosen. Before Stella stepped in, he gently pulled her by the waist and kissed her forehead.
"Turn around a little," Vergil asked, placing his hands on her shoulders as soon as she complied. He began to massage them with slow movements, pressing into the muscles that remained tense even after their conversation. Stella let out a contented sigh and let her head tilt slightly forward, allowing him to reach the back of her neck.
"You've got a knack for this," Stella remarked, closing her eyes as she felt his thumbs work the area between her shoulders and neck. She had spent so long ignoring her own fatigue that she hadn't even realized how tense she was.
