Chapter 260 - CHAPTER 259: Concluded

Accompanied by a thunderous roar, a massive blue dragon burst forth from the spatial gate.

Dvalin: [Finally, it's time to get to work!]

A surge of wind magic began to gather within the dragon's maw.

As the brilliant azure light grew brighter and brighter, the remaining monsters panicked and tried to flee in desperation.

But Leon did not allow it.

The blizzard barrier, summoned earlier by the North Wind Wolf's howl, sealed off their escape completely.

At the same time, Dvalin's Dragon Breath finished charging.

In the next instant, a dark-blue tornado erupted from the Wind Dragon King's jaws, sweeping across the battlefield in a single, devastating motion.

The once-gentle breeze of Mondstadt had transformed into a howling inferno of wind and fury, annihilating thousands of monsters in an instant.

The four thousand remaining creatures were torn apart by Dvalin's overwhelming power—or hurled skyward before plummeting to their deaths.

"That was so cool…"

"He really wiped them all out?!"

"Your Highness is even stronger than the rumors say."

"Those incantations were amazing! I—I want to be a summoner too!"

"Stop dreaming. You think you could imitate His Highness and tame two dragons and a giant wolf? You'd be lucky to tame a chihuahua."

Upon Mondstadt's city walls, every Knight of Favonius stared at Leon's back in awe.

Most of them had never seen the prince in person—only heard tales whispered across the land.

Many had dismissed those stories as wild exaggerations, too grand to be real.

He had tamed a mighty dragon.

He had defeated a rampaging red dragon.

He had single-handedly destroyed an entire kingdom.

Each of those feats alone would be enough to fill an epic novel—something only the hero of a fairy tale could accomplish.

But reality isn't a fairy tale. How could any human achieve such legendary deeds?

And yet, Leon's rumored accomplishments didn't stop there. He was said to have revolutionized magical science, advanced magical medicine, and enacted countless policies that strengthened the realm and improved the lives of its people—ensuring food and clothing for every citizen.

At least… according to the rumors.

A prince so perfect, so flawless—it seemed impossible.

But when they finally saw him fight with their own eyes, the Knights of Favonius understood the truth: those so-called "lies" were understatements!

Didn't they say he tamed one dragon?

He clearly has two!

Didn't they say His Highness preferred cats over dogs?

Then what's with the giant wolf?!

And as for destroying a kingdom alone…

He wouldn't even need to go there himself. His summoned beasts could do it for him!

"ROAAARR!!" ×2

To everyone's shock, Dvalin's Dragon Breath hadn't wiped out every enemy.

Two enormous monsters still stood, barely surviving the storm. Their hulking bodies crashed down from the sky, shaking the ground as they roared defiantly.

Leon raised an eyebrow, observing them calmly.

"So, they're golems, huh? Makes sense—their defense is insanely high."

Amidst a mountain of corpses and rivers of blood, only two figures remained.

Each was over seven meters tall, their bodies formed from living stone. The surrounding rock and earth seemed drawn toward them, merging with their flesh as though they were sculpted directly from the mountains themselves.

"Hmph~ Dvalin, you're so shameless."

"Apep, shut up! I wasn't even trying!"

From beyond the spatial gate, the Grass Dragon King Apep—whose massive size prevented it from fully crossing over—cast a disdainful glance at Dvalin.

How embarrassing. Dvalin should probably leave the group chat.

To be fair, Dvalin hadn't been serious.

In truth, neither Andrius, Apep, nor Dvalin had used their full strength.

The first wouldn't boast about it…

But the latter two were Dragon Kings.

Against a mere horde of monsters, one serious strike from either would have been enough to erase them all.

But Leon had told them to hold back.

After all, Dvalin's power was immense—too immense. If he unleashed his full might, he could obliterate not only the monsters, but also the lands before Mondstadt's gates.

The prince didn't want a landscape of craters and bottomless rifts decorating the city's front yard.

That's why he'd ordered his summons to fight gently, relying mainly on elemental reaction damage.

Tiny green seeds now sprouted across the field—each one pulsing with power, each as destructive as a grenade from Leon's previous life.

"Alright, alright, you two, that's enough arguing," Leon said, silencing his bickering dragons.

Dvalin flapped his wings impatiently.

"Leon, let me have another go!"

"Forget it," Leon replied, smirking. "You've had more than enough fun."

As for subjugating the remaining monsters, Leon wasn't interested.

Though the two surviving golems were powerful, their appearance didn't match his aesthetic taste.

The towering creatures stared up at the sky in terror.

Surrounded by two Dragon Kings and a Wolf King, their instincts screamed that the human boy standing before them was far more dangerous than any of his summons.

"Now… let's end this farce."

In that moment, Terminus Est appeared in Leon's hand.

He poured a trace of magic power into the sacred sword and swung it through the air toward the two golems.

The blade itself didn't touch them—

But the unleashed sword energy sliced through the air like a divine judgment, shattering both monsters instantly.

Leon: "It's over now."

And with that, the monster horde that had besieged Mondstadt was utterly annihilated.
