The holy temple's status used to be untouchable, but slowly they had stepped down quite a bit. As for who brought them to their knees? It was a mystery to everyone.
The untouchable head priest and the saintess started to walk amongst the commoners, healing and blessing everyone as they went.
It worked. They had rebranded themselves, they had earned back some of the favour they used to have... That is, until someone entered the competition. Edward knew it was Adeline who was giving out those charms.
It was a pathetic attempt, he could easily stage an accident and prove that those charms were, in fact, a curse. Not a blessing.
