"Are you planning to go to the hospital today?" Liu Meijun hesitated for a moment before looking at Chuxia and asking. She knew Chuxia was going to the Capital City tomorrow and was likely not going to visit again, but she couldn't resist asking with hope.
"I'm going to drop by in the afternoon to formally say goodbye to Elder Yuan." Chuxia smiled and held her hand. "You can have breakfast before you leave, and you can catch a ride with Jing Zhe. I'll call him now and ask him to wait for you."
The words of rejection were on her lips, but Liu Meijun changed her mind and said, "Alright, I'll take advantage of that."
"That's what you should do." Chuxia smiled and gave her a light pat. "You were going to refuse, weren't you, Meijun? We are good friends, and I won't play games with you. In the future, don't be so formal with me."
"Got it." Liu Meijun replied with a smile, "As long as you don't find me annoying."
