"Why?" Xie Jin was completely baffled. They had been negotiating just fine before—how could things change so suddenly?
Xie Jin really liked Pei Yicheng's project. His wife had mentioned Liunian Perfume countless times. When she learned that he was going to build a factory for Liunian, she kept reminding him to get in with the boss, so they could always be first to buy any new perfume releases in the future.
Ideally, they'd get exclusive new perfumes that nobody else could buy.
Xie Jin's wife loved perfume more than anything. Everywhere they traveled, she bought perfume. By chance, she had discovered Liunian Perfume, and since then became obsessed with it, especially the names—like "Longing Across the Water". She even loved the bottles themselves.
What's more, Xie Jin thought the architectural plans for Liunian Factory were fantastic after he saw them. If he could build this place, he'd feel really accomplished—he'd be so happy.
