"Nianhua, what's going on with your second brother Xu? Why does he seem strange?" Pei Yining came to hang out with Xu Nianhua and happened to run into Xu Nian'an heading to the clinic. She just felt that Xu Nian'an was acting odd today.
Usually, Xu Nian'an was good to Xu Nianhua, but today, something just felt off.
"It's nothing, Yining. Where have you been these past few days?" Xu Nianhua diverted the question and asked.
"Oh, I went to the West Market with my brother to thank Dr. Hu for fixing his leg." Pei Yining grinned and talked about what she'd been up to these days.
There were huge changes over at Dr. Hu's place—the roads were nicely paved, there was a new building for the clinic, and Dr. Hu's reputation had grown even bigger.
"That's good. Is your brother's leg alright?" Xu Nianhua asked.
