In the evening, Guan Li knocked on the door of the Zhou family.
"Ma'am, you're here." Aunt Zhang invited her in, then turned to the kitchen to prepare tea and water.
"Where are they?" Guan Li asked while drinking tea. "I haven't seen Achen for a while; I planned to come early to go to the dance with them. They couldn't have left already, could they?"
"Sir went out; Madam is upstairs." Aunt Zhang said, "She's been busy all day and barely ate lunch."
Hearing this, Guan Li put down the teacup and stood up, "I'll go up and check." With that, she climbed the stairs.
At that moment, Xia Lu was sitting in front of the computer. She had a project to be reviewed next week and was doing the final checks and document summary. She expected to be busy until late at night again.
Hearing a knock on the door, she assumed it was Aunt Zhang and didn't even turn her head, "I'm not eating now; let's talk later."
