"No," he answered without hesitation, his thin lips moving close to her ear, watching as her complexion slowly turned red from the root of her ear. "Others want to wash but can't, only you have this chance."
After Gu Nanqiao helped him wash, she dried her hands.
Huo Jingting turned her around, his gaze falling on her face, noticing she seemed a bit unhappy.
He asked puzzled, "What's wrong? Feeling down?"
Gu Nanqiao lifted her eyelids and met his gaze, "In the future, go to bars less often."
"Okay," he nodded in agreement, "I don't usually go unless there's something up. Last night he called me, so I went."
Her lips pressed into a line; some words came to her lips, wanting to speak but hard to articulate.
After a moment of silence, Huo Jingting noticed her unusual demeanor, "Do you want to say something?"
Gu Nanqiao hesitated several times but couldn't hold back, "Last night when you came back, you smelled of perfume."
Huo Jingting looked puzzled, "Perfume smell."
