Chapter 206 - C206 : Journey To E-Rantel (2)

"I… I see. I'll inform the men not to stare-"

"Why? If they want to stare, let them. I have no qualms, I am proud of my body." ... "I know it may be a bit of a culture shock for you, but this is the purest sense of true morality."

"May I have an example?"

"Is it right for others to demand that the very things that support and nurture a child's life out of the womb, be hidden from the world? Creating a barrier between the child and their source of life? And now answer that, knowing that people should have the ability to control themselves."

"I… I see, then I won't ask again. Perhaps we really are wrong after all."

"You definitely are. I don't force anyone to bear their bosom, yet you force all to hide it."

Gazef steeled himself for a neutral expression, made direct eye contact with Night Silver, her lips curled into a calm, and composed smile- one radiating a powerful, and unshakeable confidence- he nodded in return and then sped up his horse to return to the place a leader ought to be, the front…

It was here that Gazef thought to himself for a few minutes. She's exactly like the legends said she was, confident, and powerful. She carries herself with a faultless pride, she knows that men will look, but doesn't care. Or at the very least she cares more about having a child upon her breast, than any amount of gross sensation the eyes of wretched lesser men could possibly make her feel… Either way she's a woman even Gods and Dragon Lords must respect. She is Mother Nature after all.

The two parties reached each other on the roads, and decided to stop and take a short break to rest, and water the horses. A task that regardless of the strength, or load these horses were pulling, it would be required.

The Vice-Chief, and Chief Warrior spoke, catching each other up on the day's events. The men from each group spoke with each other while they took care of the horses. The Village Chief received some help to take care of the village horse while he spoke with Gazef, and the Vice-Chief.

Night Silver, and the Emmot girls took their shoes off, and kicked around in the small water pond. They paused for a moment when Night Silver spoke up.

"Hey little Gazef, how long do you want to wait here?"

Gazef recoiled from the term of address, and all while Night Silver approached with a calm, regal ease.

"The horses usually are ready in an hour but we've decided to camp out for the night. Is that alright with you?"

"Hmm, it means it'll take a little longer than usual to reach our destination… Anyway, I was going to let you know I'm going to be gone for about 30 minutes at the most."

"Huh, oh that changes things. Those fools there might cause a stir while you're gone. Is there some reason you need to leave for so long?"

"Yes there is one, but if you're worried about those foolish demon worshipers, then I'll take care of that right now. [Mass Sleep]." All of the Sunlight Scripture was put to sleep… "There, now they're all having pleasant nightmares."

"Alright, thanks for this, I'll keep everyone here. This way we can enter the city bright and early with the sun."

"Thanks Gazef, be right back."

Beside Night Silver, a portal opened up and as she walked with her four babies, back in Tus Nadair, she left the babies with the rest of the family, and then went to find a couple of things, the portal remained open until she returned, stepping out of it with a stretch that arced her back. Her eyes found the two men and she smirked, then couldn't help but giggle.

"Pfft, I swear you're all all the same, still just children in an adult body."

"Lady Mother Nature, you're being unfair, any man would get turned on seeing a figure like yours. Add the half naked part, and you're simply unmatched in beauty, nor appeal. No woman could hope to measure up."

"Pfft, why thank you, Vice-Chief. Unfortunately, the flattery will get you nowhere with me. I have a wonderful husband, and many men in Tus Nadair lined up to bear their children. If you want to skip that line, you're going to have to try harder than that." Night Silver giggled, and gave the Vice-Chief a light bop on the nose before returning to the Emmot girls.

"Uhm, Lady Mother Nature is…"

"She's 600 years old or maybe a little more. Seeing all of us as children must come naturally to her. It would be like me seeing a young toddler, and for a new born."

"That must be lonely…"

"It would be if she was alone, but she has a large family. A powerful one, she is the sole leader of Tus Nadair, the nation that had the power to quell the chaos of the Demon Gods, and yet she left the continent to all of us instead of dominating it. She wanted to see what we would become."

"I see that, still, knowing her age doesn't help, I think we should try to return to E-Rantel and quickly find a room there, the men are in need of… relief."

"I'll ask her if it's possible."

Gazef approached, making sure to retract any hostility, and yet also did his best to approach unsensed.

"There is a way we can get there quickly. All I have to do is enhance your horses with a spell. But those poor creatures would be tired after all of that. If you wish for it, I might just be willing to make it happen…" She turned to look at the horses but Gazef was speechless. "It looks like your horses have a bit of pride, they say they want to continue to guard my carriage."

"Then, if it isn't too much trouble I would be grateful for your help in this regard."

"Yeah, men with cramped nether regions aren't that effective… I'll give the horses a spell that will give them the strength they need to continue pushing forward, and give them a special berry that'll fill their bellies. Let us begin moving again."

And so, they began moving once more, and soon, the Fortress City of E-Rantel was in their sights.
